I can make no apologies for following my heart. — © Gavin Rossdale
I can make no apologies for following my heart.
It is said that insincere apologies can be detected while heart-felt apologies melt away all grievances, anger and hatred. Felt with all my heart I'm sooo sorry Apologies Sorry Soz so so So Sorry
We live in an age of apologies. Apologies, fake or true, are expected from the descendants of empire builders, slave owners and persecutors of heretics, and from men who -in our eyes- just got it all wrong. So, with the age of 85 coming up shortly, I want to make an apology. It appears I must apologize for being male, white, and European.
When I first got started, I used to say I just want to stay in the studio, I want to make good music, I want to sing my heart out, and I didn't think I'd have people following me to a grocery store or following me home or stuff like that.
The heart was a weak, changeable thing, bent on nothing but love, and there could be no more fatal mistake than to make it your master. Reason must be in charge. It comforted you for the heart's foolishness, it sang mocking songs about love, derided it as a whim of nature, transient as flowers. So why did she still keep following her heart?
I think it may have been Tom Wolfe (if it wasn't, my apologies, Tom, and my apologies to whoever it was) who said in print once, 'David Carradine lives the life that Hunter Thompson only writes about.'
I make no apologies.
Make no apologies for who you are.
I make no apologies for being reasonable.
We as Democrats have no apologies to make to anyone.
I don't make any apologies for what I do on the campaign trail.
We make no apologies for setting high standards.
The inner confidence in knowing who you are, believing in your dreams, and following your heart, is what make you radiate from within.
I make no apologies for any inconsistencies or contradictions in my essays. Those who do not change their minds in the course of a decade have probably stopped thinking all together. The true use of history, whether civil or military, is not to make man clever for the next time, it is to make him wise forever.
If you don't like to make excuses or apologies, stop making promises.
I make no apologies for being a huge fan of radio songs.
Following Christ means following him through life, following him in every word and gesture, following him out of one clime into another.
