When you're shooting at 9 A.M. at a club, you have to use all of your acting skills.
The skills that we have are the actual magic skills - not the performing skills. We have to separate those. But the actual skills that make the tricks work, we don't get to use again.
I never attended any acting school, though I've done theatre workshops a couple of times, and it has been an extremely enriching experience. But beyond that, I don't want to acquire the skills of acting and use them on camera. I'd rather learn on the job.
That's what Europe brought to the NBA: the passing skills, the shooting skills.
Business requires an unbelievable level of resilience inside you, the chokehold on the growth of your business is always the leader, it's always your psychology and your skills - 80% psychology, 20% skills. If you don't have the marketing skills, if you don't have the financial-intelligence skills, if you don't have the recruiting skills, it's really hard for you to lead somebody else if you don't have fundamentally those skills. And so my life is about teaching those skills and helping people change the psychology so that they live out of what's possible, instead of out of their fear.
Acting is reacting... there's a magic when you're working with another actor. With voice acting, you're doing it alone, all in your head. So, you have to re-create that essence by yourself. It's not necessarily more difficult. It's just a different set of skills.
I've got no acting skills, no musical skills and I haven't really got any dancing skills.
Sometimes I get a little confused because with dancing I can express my emotions with my body. With acting you have to do it with your face and your expressions, and then with animated shows you have to use your voice and use your inflections. So it's definitely a challenge to transfer from each genre of entertainment.
I love acting. Acting is a true love of mine, acting and math. Although they are both creative, they use very different sides of your brain. And I love both. Acting is my first love, and that's my main career, it really is.
Your core competency and acting skills are important.
What I've discovered is, really, acting is acting is acting. It's all the same. Seventy-five percent of the skills are the same in both media.
I don't even have any good skills. You know like nunchuck skills, bow hunting skills, computer hacking skills. Girls only want boyfriends who have great skills!
Public lands are for everyone's use. Be responsible when shooting and clean up the area you were shooting in so others can enjoy the land.
First of all, women inherently, I think, are quite capable of having lots of balls in the air. And so, like, it's all those skills you use; you analyze the problem, figure out your tools, and then go at it piece by piece.... It's like what you have to do in the morning to get your kids out the door [if you're a parent]. The skills are, I believe, the same. The patience issues are the same.
Follow your dreams and use your natural-born talents and skills to make this a better world for tomorrow.

After 'Njandukalude...' I had gone for an acting course in Mumbai as I felt the need to improve my acting skills.
