A Quote by Giovani Bernard

I don't know how much things have changed. You still need to be able to run the ball, pick up blitzes and catch the ball out of the backfield. Perhaps you need a running back to do a little bit more or be more versatile today but that is a good thing. People say we get hurt and don't last as long, but it's still an important position and you need everyone in the backfield to be able to contribute.
I definitely respect Kamara's game. He's a different type of player. He can catch the ball out of the backfield. He can run in between the tackles. Pretty much a do-it-all back.
I believe that my impact is being a threat on the field, being a versatile player on the field that you have to counter, whether it be running the ball, catching the ball out of the backfield, special teams, line up in the slot.
You break down the tape of the top five backs, all those guys can catch the ball out the backfield. They're special with the ball in hand. Something I strive to be.
I would need a book to describe Jamal Miles. He can do it all. We line him up in the slot. We bring him into the backfield. We hand the ball to him. We send him in motion and get him the ball. He throws the football. He might be the best athlete I've ever been around in my life.
My focus in the training sessions is always about movement to create openings and opportunities. When you don't have the ball, you still need the discipline to know where you should be, who you should be marking, but when we have the ball, it is important to be able to move around.
You have people who are out there age 30-plus still competing on the grand stage. If I keep in shape, keep to a certain speed and turn it up when I need to, I think I will be able to get out there and run what I need to run.
The pace of the game has changed even while I've been a player. It always seems to be getting quicker. You need to be fast, quick to get around the park, need to be able to press and defend and get in peoples' faces, and you need quality on the ball.
Because in order to beat Jimmy, I had to get around the ball a little bit quicker so I wasn't always on defensive and catching the ball on last stride, that I had little more time. Once I was able to get little bit quicker, then it has helped me a lot.
I think David Johnson is getting better, if that's possible. I think he's a really good player. I think he can do a lot of things. He's big. He's explosive. He can catch the ball out of the backfield. You can line him up out wide. I think he's a very dynamic player.
We need to have intimate, enduring bonds; we need to be able to confide; we need to feel that we belong; we need to be able to get support, and just as important for happiness, to give support. We need many kinds of relationships; for one thing, we need friends.
At some point, you're not going to be able to run the ball for 180 yards, even with the best running back in the NFL. That's when you have to be able to throw the ball.
We don't need no more rappers, we don't need no more basketball players, no more football players. We need more thinkers. We need more scientists. We need more managers. We need more mathematicians. We need more teachers. We need more people who care; you know what I'm saying? We need more women, mothers, fathers, we need more of that, we don't need any more entertainers
Running for office is important, and you don't really need more than to be right on the issues, and to be able to articulate what it is you believe. You don't need a certain background. You don't need to be a lawyer. You don't need to have some professional degree.
Playing defense, it was a tough job, but it was pretty simple: When the ball came off, get in the backfield and create havoc and find the ball carrier.
I think the running game is very important to every offense. Being balanced is extremely important. There's times where you have to throw the ball. You could be down late in the game, you need to come back; you have to be able to pass it when they know you're passing it.
If ever you do go back, what is it you want of Evesham?" "Do I know? [...] The silence, it might be ... or the stillness. To have no more running to do ... to have arrived, and have no more need to run. The appetite changes. Now I think it would be a beautiful thing to be still.
