I want every person in New South Wales, no matter where they live, to feel that they have the choices and the opportunities to be their best. — © Gladys Berejiklian
I want every person in New South Wales, no matter where they live, to feel that they have the choices and the opportunities to be their best.
Everyone I know is fervently proud to be Welsh but you try not to be preachy about it. It's difficult at times. But when I go home to north Wales, or to somewhere I've never been in south Wales, I still feel at home because I'm in Wales. It's hard to explain.
I'm incredibly proud that no matter where you live in New South Wales, whether in the regions or the city, you're seeing projects come to life and delivered that were only imagined, that were only spoken about by the previous government.
If you are sitting on the title of any block of land in New South Wales you can bet an Aboriginal person at some stage was dispossessed of it.
And when I won Miss Universe, I got a global platform, which gave me a louder voice to be able to reach more women from every corner of the world. No matter where we live, our circumstances or how we grew up, we want to feel love, we want to feel cared for, and we want to feel powerful.
I live my life with love. I live my life with compassion. I live my life hoping the best for absolutely everyone, no matter how they feel about me. And when you live that way, it's amazing how beautiful every day can be.
In this eventful period the colony of New South Wales is already far advanced.
I think if you're trying to be mindful of eating well on the road, it can be difficult no matter what. Your choices at midnight or one o'clock in some of the smaller towns when we are getting out of shows aren't going to be the best choices for eating healthy no matter what your dietary choices or restrictions are.
I live in South Africa. I'm proud to live there. I've always said I want to be a comedian from South Africa in the world. I will stay in places for a bit here and there and pop into New York for a while, maybe stay in London for a year, but my home will always be South Africa. I enjoy it too much.
Who knows but that England may revive in New South Wales when it has sunk in Europe.
I'm one of five kids and we lived on a massive farm in New South Wales with my mum and dad.
Sometimes, when you grow up in one of these poverty-stricken neighborhoods where the educational system isn't the best, you don't realize that you have any choices. Often, kids don't appreciate the choices available, as if it's either the street or nothing. I want them to understand that reality is what's relative to you, and that you can make choices that allow you to create a new reality for yourself.
I am for everyone, every single person, Israeli, Palestinian, to have equal access to opportunities, to feel safe where they live, and to really be a genuine partner and a visionary around reaching peace in that region.
In a colony constituted like that of New South Wales, the proportion of crime must of course be great.
Nothing escapes the vigilance of the New South Wales police; their reputation is known the world over.
When we generally make healthy choices about food (or wise choices about life), we tend to move in the right direction, living as we believe God wants us to live. If we make an intentional exception for a special treat or for a diversion, that might not be a big deal. But if we step off the best path, we're tempted to detour into more unwise choices. In that case, your decision does matter.
Don't ever allow yourself to feel trapped by your choices. Take a look at yourself. You are a unique person created for a specific purpose. Your gifts matter. Your story matters. Your dreams matter. You matter.
