My mom said it's always positive vibes. I love good vibes, and that's what I get off people all of the time. That's what I want to give out to other people is those vibes and to have hope and dreams and to build that confidence and be encouraged to do whatever they want in life if they put their mind to it.

I know what it's like to be so distracted by your surroundings and in the moment that it's seemingly impossible to not get caught up in 'em. I know what it's like to feel so much smaller than the activities of your environment that you can't see how not to succumb to 'em. I know what it's like to not be able to focus in class due to real life hunger pangs. I know what it's like to be disruptive just to pass the time and take your mind off what's lacking at home. I know what it's like to be laughed at by your teacher when you tell them what you hope to be in life.
I just work really, really hard every day, and I think that probably rubs off on people.
My advice to young wrestlers is that your surroundings really make a difference. You want to put yourself in good, positive surroundings.
A guy stopped me in the street the other day as I was skipping and singing to myself while walking with my son, Hudson who was also dancing along. I didn't even realize I was doing it, it was just happening, and that made me smile. It rubs off on Hudson and it even rubbed off on a total stranger.
My song 'Saved:' that's EDM-vibes with some L.A. vibes.
Disbelief is catching. It rubs off on people.
I love a little more driving rock and roll vibe and that kind of music has always spoke to me. I guess it just rubs off when I'm writing music.
Stay close to the young... and a little rubs off.
