A Quote by Grace Gealey

The best work we can ever do in this world is work on being the greatest version of ourselves so we can continue to give the highest version of this to others. — © Grace Gealey
The best work we can ever do in this world is work on being the greatest version of ourselves so we can continue to give the highest version of this to others.
I think we all carry within us different versions of ourselves. Our true, greatest, most honest versions of ourselves can either be developed and nourished, or it can remain dead from neglect. Most people opt for the easiest version rather than the best. But in the end which version lives, which version thrives and which version dies, depends on the choices we make and the people in our lives.
I didn’t and don’t want to be a ‘feminine’ version or a diluted version or a special version or a subsidiary version or an ancillary version, or an adapted version of the heroes I admire. I want to be the heroes themselves.
It is our job to continue imagining higher, and even higher, states of being - higher thoughts, word and deeds - in order that we might continue creating ourselves anew in the next grandest version of ourselves.
I definitely want to work with people who are artists and who are interested in being their best version of themselves.
What Confucius tells us to focus on first is not how to bring stability to the world, but how to be the best possible version of ourselves. To "cultivate one's moral character" is the first step towards taking responsibility for the nation, and for society. Confucius and his disciples struggled hard to be "the best version" of themselves, but their aim in this was to better carry out their responsibilities to the society in which they lived.
Training is a part of being the best version of yourself and you need to be the best version of yourself to be successful.
I want to be the best version of me, I want to improve, to give opportunities through my work.
For the records I've work on over the last 10 years, I get sent the really compressed version and the non-compressed version, and oftentimes you end up going with the more compressed one because it's what people's ears are attuned to. I think the bigger problem is saturation and people being desensitized.
We just want to be the best version of ourselves that we can be. Be true to ourselves and make the best music we can. Entertain people which is what we were put on this Earth for.
A book is a version of the world. If you do not like it, ignore it; or offer your own version in return.
I always really curious to see how people interpret things. I know my version, and I'm kind of bored with my version so I want to see their version.
When doing what we most love transforms us into the best possible version of ourselves and that version hints at even greater future possibilities, the urge to explore those possibilities becomes feverish compulsion. Intrinsic motivation goes through the roof. Thus flow becomes an alternative path to mastery, sans the misery.
I feel like writing a book there's always a version in your head that's an amazing version, but then you write the version that you can write.
We realized that the version of the world they rendered for us was not the version of the world they really believed in.
Goals give us purpose, which, in turn, motivates us to make ourselves the best version in all aspects of your life.
Being compared to the greatest-ever safety is pretty ridiculous. I continue to work toward that, but I'm not there and I know that.
