A Quote by Inzamam-ul-Haq

A tour to India is different from other tours. The expectations to win are very high from our own people, and defeats and poor performances are not forgotten easily.
Living up to other people's expectations is always difficult. And then you have your own expectations and you set yourself goals that are very, very high. And that's true for everyone.
In retrospect, our triumphs could as easily have happened to someone else; but our defeats are uniquely our own.
It's tough though because of the whole part about getting sponsors and people out to watch women's cycling. I think the only way that women can really work it is that we have to work our way more into these big grand tours that the men have like the Tour de Georgia, Tour of Utah, and Tour of California.
I have seen several deaths, too many deaths in my life, and they were all different. Each one was different. It didn't seem to be necessarily connected with the life of the person. Some people that were not particularly developed or outstanding or spiritual died very easily. Some other people were on a very high level and had a difficult time in dying.
Other people may not have had high expectations for me... but I had high expectations for myself.
When new technology in the classroom starts happening, some people get very excited and think of it as a panacea. It attracts very high amounts of money; it raises expectations, and those expectations aren't met.
Do you think that we're products of our environments? I think so, or maybe products of our expectations. Others' expectations of us or our expectations. I mean others' expectations that you take on as your own. I realize how difficult it is to seperate the two. The expectations that others place on us help us form our expectations of ourselves.
When you go and you tour Europe, or you go and you tour Egypt, or you go and you tour Iraq, or you go and you tour Afghanistan, or India, or whatever. Governments get to a point where they're illegitimate because people just give up on them as far as being leaders who have their country's interests at heart.
In our own case we accept excuses too easily; in other people's, we do not accept them easily enough.
I realized some time ago that, while there are really, really high quality schools in urban India - my daughter attends one - there are very few high quality schools in rural India. And that is mostly because of the perception that there are not enough people to pay a reasonable fee in rural India.
I don't really focus on other people's expectations of me. I only care what my own expectations are.
The 2005 Test tour to India was special, as I captained and we won at Bangalore, and it was a great tour for us, and even winning against India at Lahore in 2004 was a memorable day for me.
I was on tour with Michael Jackson for a while; I did the 'Dangerous' and 'History' tours. I was also on tour with Diana Ross.
Kerala audience is different because their expectations are very high.
When we would go to all these different regions on tour, having people sing our songs in Korean is amazing. All these different parts of the world are giving us love, and we're very grateful for that.
My records are one thing. My live performances are something totally different because they're very improvised performances.
