The name is something we thought about for a long time, and we wanted it to be a girl's name, but we didn't want it to be 'the Jesses,' ... We were very conscious of not wanting to make it a twin thing, because we think that's really tacky.
I'm always writing my own music, recording my own music, even if I am 9/10 of the time recording stuff for other people. I'm still working on my own creative endeavors.

You had to change who you were to become famous. I thought that for a very long time. Even after signing a record deal, and then eventually getting my own recording company, Wonderland Records, I had to say no to a lot of opportunities to become well known. If it didn't align with my values and if it didn't support the image I had created for myself, I'd pass.
And I remember walking in and there was this long, long table with everyone's name cards. I got there really early. The name card on my left said, 'Gillian Anderson,' and to my right was 'Josh O'Connor,' then opposite me was 'Olivia Colman.' I think I must have a picture on my phone of the table because my mind was just blown.
