Every night is different, a ball of thread that unrolls differently. — © Jane Siberry
Every night is different, a ball of thread that unrolls differently.
I think every directing team works differently in the same manner that every director works differently. Everybody has a different personality and a different way of working, and that somehow evolves in the process.
I mean, we shoot differently, we cut differently, our stories are different . . . I'd say that every single thing is different except for the fact that you watch it on a TV or a computer or a phone, just like you do with everybody else's content.
Have you ever noticed how many silences there are Gilbert? The silence of the woods....of the shore....of the meadows....of the night....of the summer afternoon. All different because the undertones that thread them are different.
Every generation has a changing of the guard in media. We do the same stuff that everybody else does, but we just do it differently. We do our content online differently. But after that. Every night after that. I'd see it all again, do something different. Faster or more clever, you know? Dozens of times, lots of different ways ...Every night I save you.
It seemed like we were losing every night for a different reason. Now we're winning a different way every time. It's a great feeling.
