I guess intractable right-wing ideologues are my mortal enemy. — © Janeane Garofalo
I guess intractable right-wing ideologues are my mortal enemy.
The Democratic Party was always there on crime, but in the past we let the ideologues on the left dominate. The Republicans may still let the ideologues on the right dominate.
But in the right-wing media, they do have a right-wing bias. And they also have an agenda. So their agenda is: we're an adjunct of the Republican Party, and we're going push that agenda every day, and, as you say, brand these stories that help further the right-wing cause.
My only enemy is right-wing religious fundamentalism.
liberty, which means resisting all forms of cultural authoritarianism, be it from the right wing church, black ideologues, black nationalists, or mainstream white media. We have to accent liberty and freedom of expression and thought in all their forms.
There are two forms of populism, left-wing populism and right-wing populism. Right-wing populism requires the denigration of an "Other." Left-wing populism tends to be about the haves and have-nots.
Because I have an opinion, I have become public enemy number one to the Fox News Channel and the right wing.
I'm not left-wing, or right-wing. With only one wing I couldn't fly, and I just couldn't have that.
[Commercial] radio is absolutely the enemy of music. They are my sworn and mortal enemy, and I will have nothing to do with them.
I've always thought the American eagle needed a left wing and a right wing. The right wing would see to it that economic interests had their legitimate concerns addressed. But with two right wings or two left wings, it's no longer an eagle and it's going to crash.
No-one in their right mind would buy the 'New Statesman' and change it from being a left-wing to a right-wing magazine.
I've been a radical for a long time. I guess it's too bad. I'd be more marketable as a right-wing redneck.
To anyone who sees himself as right-wing, I say you should vote right-wing.
I put my energy, voice, and spirit into fighting for anybody who wants to speak their voice. I don't care what the right wing, the left wing, or the chicken wing has to say.
I'm praying for Barack Obama to stay on the tightrope because I want to fight his right-wing critics. I want to down I want to ensure they don't lie about him. I'm sure they don't demonize him, and too much of that is going on. So I don't want my critiques to be in any way confused with the right-wing critiques, even though I'll fight for the right wing to be wrong in that regard.
Left wing. Right wing. Chicken wing.
I do think there are very few extreme right-wing gay Republicans. Although it depends how you define "extreme right-wing." They're making a political calculation.
