I love good and caring lawyers who are advocates, who are defenders, who are problem-solvers, and who are peacemakers. — © Janet Reno
I love good and caring lawyers who are advocates, who are defenders, who are problem-solvers, and who are peacemakers.
Good problem-seekers are in higher demand than good problem-solvers.
Most lawyers aren't trial lawyers. Most lawyers, even trial lawyers, don't get their problems solved in a courtroom. We like to go to court. It seems heroic to go to court. We think we're the new, great advocates, better than anything we've seen on TV, and we come home exhilarated by having gone to court.

Then we saw a popular comedian go off the air out of fear of retribution.
I don't have a problem with any defenders. I've always played against great defenders.
The real problem is what to do with problem solvers after the problem is solved.
I started shooting 'The Defenders' two days after I wrapped' Friday Night Lights.' I was doing research for 'The Defenders' throughout - interviewing lawyers and sitting in courtrooms just to watch - but there's something fun about throwing yourself in the water and learning by doing.
The purpose of the University of Washington cannot be to produce black lawyers for blacks, Polish lawyers for Poles, Jewish lawyers for Jews, Irish lawyers for Irish. It should be to produce good lawyers for Americans, and not to place First Amendment barriers against anyone.
The real problem is what to do with the problem-solvers after the problems are solved.
We shall have to evolve problem-solvers galore since each problem they solve creates ten problems more.
Surround yourself with problem solvers, not problem creators.
The problem with this world is not enough problem solvers. So, if you become a problem solver you become rich.
Engineers have a certain mindset of how they approach problem solving. That's basically what engineers are: problem solvers. You identify the problem. Then you design a process to solve the problem. Then you execute the process and repeat it over and over until you get it right.
Mayors are known to be problem-solvers.
Leaders are problem solvers by talent and temperament, and by choice.
Guys are natural problem solvers - they like to have strategies.
Women tend to be problem solvers. We work together.
