I love seeing cosplayers, not just of Korra, but anybody.
Companies are hiring cosplayers to be promotional spokes models for them. There are cosplayers trying to develop a cult following even though they've only been cosplaying for less than a year or two. It's all about the social media or Facebook likes.
It is a long story how we finally ended up with the title simply being 'The Legend of Korra,' but in a poetic way, I think Korra's big Type A personality willed it to happen!
I love actors; I love seeing great performances. I just love that, when I'm seeing a performance, that inside me, I just go, 'Oh my God, how are you doing that? Where is that coming from?' Where you see an actor do something, and I can't even locate it in my own body.
As we wrote 'Book 1,' before the audience had ever laid eyes on Korra and Asami, it was an idea I would kick around the writers' room... The more Korra and Asami's relationship progressed, the more the idea of a romance between them organically blossomed for us.
Cosplayers love Disney princesses. We all grew up with them. We identify with one or more princesses.
I just love the idea of never seeing a city before and seeing the glow in the distance, and it just looking frightening, like you're driving into a fire.
I just feel so flattered, because the cosplayers really make sure every detail is there. I don't think I've ever cosplayed a character before, but if I were to, I'd probably go as a Klingon from 'Star Trek.'

I love seeing New York City Ballet from the fourth ring, just seeing the architecture of how these bodies move from above.
Just seeing the fact that this is an attachment, that attachment is a bondage - a beautiful word for bondage - that attachment is not love... just seeing the ugliness of attachment - it drops; then arises love. The same energy that was becoming attachment, released from attachment becomes a totally different energy; it becomes love.
'Korra' is its own series. Obviously it's tied in, in the same world, a similar story, but it's not just 'Book Four' of 'The Last Airbender.'
I just found such a love for dancing. If anybody would love to just feel great, not just physically, but you want to feel such confidence, just go and take a ballroom dancing class! I love it more than any kind of workout.
After six years without seeing one, I love just seeing a smile - every smile I see gives me hope.
There is nothing interesting about just seeing me doing the show then seeing the fans and how much people love me.
We're not trying to impress anybody. We're not trying to change anybody's mind. We're just out there playing, and it's something we love.
I'm sure my mum was a huge influence on my wanting to be an actress: just seeing her doing it, seeing her love it, caring about it. Invest in something, take it seriously and be so wonderful.
