I occasionally watch provocative videos.
My kids don't watch any TV, but they watch videos and films. I'm sure they watch it at friends' houses.
It's a video world now, you know? It's not a musical world. It's a video world. I can watch videos. I see videos, you know, Britney Spears, she's sexy. I like to watch her videos. It's not like the music is what I'm hearing. It's different now. But it's not my world. It's the world of young people and they have what they want and they have what the technology and the society produces as a result of all these advancements that have occurred. And the in the future we'll have something else. Maybe we'll have holograms and, you know, all kinds of stuff.
I have parents coming to the live show saying that they watch my videos with their kids. I have teachers saying they have used the videos with their students.
I'll continue to make videos as long as I have the time and people continue to watch my videos, but eventually I'd like to mainstream into TV or movies.
I love hip-hop videos. It was not meant as disrespect. I used to watch those videos and think, "Are these guys kidding? They've got to be kidding!" But they're not and that in itself is what makes them good.
You know, I don't sit here and watch, uh, I don't watch CMT videos and listen to country radio all the time.
I don't watch penalties in my hotel room. I watch naughty videos
I watch movies occasionally, and I watch documentaries. Virtually nothing else.
Of course I like to watch myself bat. After every innings, match, series, I do watch my own videos whenever I get the time.
Videos? Videos are important because millions of people watch TV and we can only tour and play so many places. But if you've got a video, then you're able to air it and millions and millions of people will see it.
YouTube has a stigma about only kids watching it. That's true. It is mostly kids and teenagers who watch it. But I've never made videos for teenagers. They should not be watching my videos.
Whenever I have free time, I love to just lay in my bed and watch YouTube videos, watch movies. Just basically do nothing.
These people that watch our MTV shows, they're not music fans. They're people that are lazy on their couch and want to watch funny videos or whatever.
If you watch old Cars videos, they don't make any sense. They're just fun to watch. There doesn't need to be storyline, and you don't need to know why anything is happening.
Personally, I try to be provocative but not needlessly provocative in my work.
Just finding ways to be not provocative for provocative's sake, but to show an idea that hasn't been shown before, I mean that's interesting to me.
