I think that's kind of who I am. I just try to be vocal and try to lead by example.
I'm not the most vocal guy, but I try to lead by example every single day with how I work.
Kids pick up and absorb a lot more than you think they do. I try to do what I think is right, and I try to lead by example.
I'm kind of a quiet leader, and I just try to lead by example. But then sometimes you have to say something.
You lead with direction, and you try to lead by example. I try to be there when things are not good and obviously share the spoils of success.
A lot of things about my way of leadership is to be vocal, but I try to lead by example - how I approach work and study the game. Do the things the right way. It's a great responsibility I love to have.
I try to work hard. I try to set a good example. I don't look at it as though I've got to be a leader. I just try to behave the way I think I should behave. If that results in a leadership role, great.
A lot of things I try to instill in my children comes off of what I've learned from my parents. First of all, you have to lead by example. You can't say one thing and behave another way. Kids learn more from watching you in life than what you say to them. So I try to be the best example I can be to them.
It doesn't matter if you're good at anything, just try your best. Then there's the idea that individually they're flawed but together they can do amazing things. I think that's a very nice message and it's not something you hit people over the head with. It just comes with The Muppets; it's what they're about. It's that kind of innocent try, try, try quality. And it also makes them underdogs. You can't help but support the underdog.
And as far as being a leader, I've always kind of been a bit of a quiet leader for the most part and tend to just lead by work ethic and example and those types of things and just be a good teammate and try to love everyone the same way.
I try to be as humble as possible and try to project that to the world. But some people don't see that. They think I'm just in Atlanta spending money. But I try to be humble. I try to let the world know that I am still humble.
When you're a kid, you always think about your parents, and I still do. I try to lead with the same example that they set.
I'm a practitioner of elegant frugality. I don't feel comfortable telling other people what to do, so I just try and lead by example.
In my community everyone seems to listen or have an interest in what I have to say, what I'm wearing, or what I'm doing. They just follow what I do, I don't tell them to. I just try to lead by example.
Just every day try to be a leader, try to get better and to help my team win. I just want to be more vocal, like talk more so my teammates can know I got their back.
I'm more comfortable with my beliefs and with who I am. I honestly don't think about it that much. I just try to live my life and I try to love people. I try to love God well and I try to love people well. Those are my main objectives.
I just try to just roll with the punches. I mean, once the team pretty much starts closing out, just try to get in attack mode, and at the same time, try to find my teammates. It's kind of hard, hitting the shots I was hitting, to try and pass the ball, but you've got to figure out a way.
