I'm not saying - in any way - that Donald Driver is lying or lacking sincerity. But I trust my reporting.
I'm not saying Donald Trump voters are a cult at all. I'm saying the attitude of implicit trust, people don't trust politicians like that, and yet a lot of people will profess blanket trust of Trump.
You cannot expect the guy who drove the car into the ditch to navigate it out of the ditch. You have to put a new driver in the seat. I'm not saying the new driver is going to be any better, but we need a new driver. Kerry is the only choice.
I should say sincerity, a deep, great, genuine sincerity, is the first characteristic of all men in any way heroic.
Fact-checking is a terrible way to report on Donald Trump's lying . It's like we enter into a dialogue with him. It's as though, he says "A," and we check "A," and it gives it no context. Saying that he's "misstating" is an even worse way of covering it. That's NPR's ridiculous policy of not calling his lies "lies." It's really destructive.
The false reporting by the media, the false, horrible, fake reporting makes it much harder to make a deal with Russia, and probably [Vladimir] Putin said, he's sitting behind his desk a and he's saying, you know, I see what's going on in the United States, I follow it closely, it's going to be impossible for President [Donald] Trump to ever get along with Russia because of all the pressure he's got with this fake story.
I think in terms of who can be trusted, I think the evidence is clear that there has been no candidate that I have ever seen who lies more often than does Donald Trump. I mean and that's just not me saying it, that's what any independent media analysis has shown. So in terms of trust, you really can't trust a word, I think, that Mr. Trump has to say.
My point is Trump is Trump. He's the same guy wherever he is. But the reporting on him on Middle East trip is nowhere near like the reporting on Trump when he's in Washington. There aren't any leaks. For example, we haven't yet seen a story quoting unnamed sources in the Saudi government saying that the king was profoundly embarrassed when Trump asked if there was a McDonald's nearby.
The thing that [the Senate and the House] don't realize is that everyone wants them to come from beyond that contradiction so that we can all fix it. Nobody is saying, "We don't have a problem." Nobody is saying that, "9/11 didn't happen." What they're saying is, "We're not a fragile country, trust us to have this conversation, so that we can do this in the right way, in a more effective way."
I've never met or spoken to David Lee Roth, yet it's rather ironic that even he's saying Eddie's lying about things. I'm saying he's not telling the truth, yet Eddie insists that the two of us are lying! You be the judge.
Apparently there are not a whole lot of people there that have confidence. They are willing, apparently, to believe that Donald Trump's been lying to 'em all along, while, if you want to characterize it this way, how many years have they been lying to voters about their intentions on repealing and replacing Obamacare?
Gore is nature's way of saying, "There are too many human beings on the planet, and I'm trying to rectify this any way I can. SARS didn't work, but trust me, I'm cooking up something better. In the interim, please kill lots of yourselves.
Big or small, I perform all my duties with utmost sincerity; that's the only way I can pay back to the filmmakers who trust me.
Nihilism: any aim is lacking, any answer to the question "why" is lacking. What does nihilism mean?--that the supreme values devaluate themselves.
Unfortunately, too many executives believe the myths about trust. Myths like how trust is soft and is merely a social virtue. The reality is that trust is hard-edged and is an economic driver.
I have all my life long been lying in bed till noon; yet I tell all young men, and tell them with great sincerity, that nobody who does not rise early will ever do any good.
I suppose my best attribute, if you want to call it that, is sincerity. I can sell sincerity because that's the way I am.
