It's always special when you're young and you have a vision for something you want to do, and somebody takes a moment to connect with you. Now if there are kids on the set I try to talk to them for a bit.
I definitely isolate, but I also always have people in front of me, and I have to be OK with that. I'm in a business where, on the set, you're around two hundred people every day, and if you're high on the call sheet, you sort of set the tone for the set. If you have a vision or if you believe the director has a vision, then at least you've got something to talk about, something to try and head to and I think that's mandatory for every director to have to do a good job.
