Gymnastics has given me everything in my life. I will continue to stay involved and try to give back to the sport that has given me so much.
I'm too busy with entertainment to think about anything else. No one knows this sport better than I do. I've been a fan of this sport since UFC 1 in Denver. I've followed this sport, I've been obsessed with this sport, I've trained with the best of the best, and I've fought the best of the best.
I've always been interested in the sport even as a young kid. I liked the sport of martial arts because I loved anything that involved contact, conflict or collision.
I didn't find out about the Paralympics until I was 18 years old. Once I found out what the Paralympics were, I was so excited to know I had a chance to represent my country and wear Team U.S.A. on my back.
I had the world against me. I was told I shouldn't be doing sport and that I wouldn't go to the Paralympics. I've had so many barriers.
This sport has given me so much that my hope would be to give back as much as I can for as long as I can.
If I pass away one day, I am happy because I tried to do my best. My sport allowed me to do so much because it's the biggest sport in the world.
I love this sport, and I want people to have the opportunities that I have. I want the kid in the inner city to know that she can be a bobsledder one day, and I want the kid in the middle of Africa to know that she can be a bobsledder one day. So the more that we can go out there and grow the sport, the better.
This sport has given me so much. It has taught me to be strong emotionally and physically.
Paralympics has always had to push the media into it being about sport and not focusing on the disability.
Having loved sport my whole life, competing in a Paralympics would be a dream come true.
Very much like that, and very much a loner, do you know and I didn't fit really into sport or all kind of group activities as a kid, I couldn't find a niche. And music was not really part of the kind of village curriculum it would, you know.
Given how shy I was as a kid, the young me would be astonished to discover that I've made a career out of acting.
Sometimes I'll get reminded that I promote Paralympic sport and Paralympics GB. Yes, I have a role but I don't feel like an idol.
We just want the sport to be taken seriously and given the best possible chance for current and future players to be the best they can.
I wrestled when I was a kid. That started me off with the discipline, because making weight was my responsibility. It is a team sport, but it is also a solo sport.
