A Quote by Jim Caviezel

I don't really prepare for each role the same way. — © Jim Caviezel
I don't really prepare for each role the same way.
For me and for I'm sure any actor, each role is a different challenge to prepare for in a different way.
The role that people think I play is not a role. When I go home, and I'm with my sisters, I'm the same way. When I'm with my boys, I'm the same way.
We must start to prepare for a warming world in the same way that we prepare for the possibility of terrorism - by making sure our infrastructure is secure and by working to minimize threats as much as possible.
Every role is approached in exactly the same way, you have to make it believable and that's all. Acting is really serious, like, pretending really hard.
Those teams that really trust each other, really communicate with each other, really hold each other accountable and do it in a good way, in a respectful way, and just genuinely enjoy and like each other, I think that can be something that helps you separate when talent is equal.
If you look at my body of work, my characters drastically vary, and so I typically don't play the same role. It makes me feel reborn with each role.
My favorite role is mommy. I know that sounds cheesy to people who don't have kids, or there are even some moms who think it's cheesy. It's a role you can't prepare for; it's a role you don't get paid to do, but it is the most rewarding role, and to me, it's been the most fulfilling.
I always wanted to do good work, the best that I was able to, to really discover myself, getting better with each role, and find newer ways to do the same thing.
You must approach each test with the seriousness and passion that you would use to prepare to challenge your death. You must prepare-not to die- but to battle for your life in each moment with every faculty and power available to you.
Prepare your hearts for Death's cold hand! prepare Your souls for flight, your bodies for the earth; Prepare your arms for glorious victory; Prepare your eyes to meet a holy God! Prepare, prepare!
Marriage is made out to be so important for girls but the focus has to shift at some point from marriage to the real challenges of life which are the same for women and men, so we have to prepare our girls just the way we prepare our boys.
I like to prepare each tour in a different way.
Everyone is using the same programs, everyone is looking at the same opening ideas. I wouldn't say everyone is necessarily the same in terms of talent or ability, but when you're able to prepare games that go so deep that you don't have to think, really, it balances out the field.
I think you just prepare the way you've always prepared and go about the game the same way and see where you stand at the end of the year.
Really, each part, each one of us, I think, has our role, but I think for Joe, he really stands out and has that Mick Jagger-esque feel to him.
My belief is whether I'm the starter, whether I'm the backup, I'm going to show up the same exact way. I'm going to prepare the same exact way, and I'll always be ready to go.
