A Quote by Jim Ratcliffe

Ineos is a friendly organisation. Very few people leave. It's collegiate. There's not much politics, and we like decent people. We don't like arrogance or bullies.
Politics is dirty. Politics is exciting. Politics is often very, very difficult and disappointing. And I really would rather the world would be a little more like it was when my dad was young, where you knew pretty much where people stood on the great moral issues.
I liked friendly games, but I took them like a test to test new players. People didn't like that very much.
One expects decent people to stand up for the good of all. Decent people shut their doors and hide behind them as decent people do. Massacres could never happen if it weren't for decent people.
We can't leave the internet to the bullies. You deserve to speak out and be heard just as much as the next man. Don't let bullies silence you. Support others, and make sure you look after yourself.
I guess I don't like the people in politics very much, to be blunt.
I’d like to fight everybody who wants to make war on people. I’d like to fight bullies, actually. I’d like to stand up to the bullies in this world. I was actually mugged once in London, and I was completely defenseless. They came at me with a… I was held at knifepoint. And I felt so angry that I let them do it and I think I’d like to go back and say ‘Look, it’s okay’, and if they tried to stab me, I could just say ‘You can stop that now’.
I'll always put policy ahead of politics and I think people expect that. They're sick of the politics getting in the way of decent outcomes for people.
I don't like having hierarchical structures. So, everybody knows that I'm the boss but, from that, I don't like people to walk on eggshells. I like people to be friendly and to feel loved. I think that kind of fits into creativity stronger. If people are scared, they are afraid to come up with ideas.
I feel like New Yorkers get stereotyped as , but I feel like they are the most friendly. I feel like you get to know people in a day, where in L.A., I am isolated in my car because I never get to talk to people as much.
There are very few people on top of life, and the rest of us don't like them very much.
I'm very appreciative, I'm feeling very blessed and I like to live in the moment so any person I meet, I start to leave my mark. As far as my work goes, I just hope that people like it when I do it. I certainly give my best and try to learn as much as I can while I'm working or studying for a role.
Do you like people? Most people claim that they like people with, of course, a "few exceptions." When the exceptions are added together it becomes clear that they include a vast majority of the people. It becomes equally clear that most people like just a few people, their kind of people, and either do not actively care for or actively dislike most of the "other" people.
Sometimes we read or hear too much news that makes us fearful or suspicious of others. We can forget that most of the people that we know, or at least encounter regularly, are decent and friendly.
My experience is that very few people have what it takes to be a successful investor, as I discussed in The Arrogance of Stock Picking.
There is not much point in establishing an organisation like the independent commission for information retrieval, or the other organisations that we agreed to, if we do not encourage people to participate.
When you join a political party, you are attaching yourself with an organisation of skilled people. And when you work with an organisation, your working capacity becomes double. One can perform better with the help of an organisation to implement their thoughts.
