I agree with Donna Brazile who said about Benghazi: "We got to preven dis from hapinin agen. "
Was that Donna Brazile, a CNN analyst, or a [Hillary] Clinton partisan? Two batches of emails posted by WikiLeaks show Brazile gave Clinton advisers a heads up about questions the candidate might receive at CNN events during the primaries.
[Donna] Brazile was giving [Donald] Trump no quarter.
I remember we [with Donald Trump] were sitting in a meeting and he walked in and he looked at me and he said - maybe five or six of us in there - and he said, "Are you the first woman to ever run a presidential campaign?" And so the guys in the room said, "First Republican woman." And I said - you know, I always think of Susan Estrich and Mary Kay and Donna Brazile, and respect them enormously; know one of them very well. And I said, "Well, I'm the first Republican one."
I didn't even know I was the first female Republican campaign manager until someone pointed it out to me on Twitter, and I said that can't be true. And then I realized this must be such a small group of women. And right away, I know them all - Susan Estrich and Donna Brazile and Beth Myers - and I respect them enormously.
Susan Rice, she's distant. She is the UN ambassador, got nothing to do with Benghazi, not in the State Department. She has no representation at the consulate or at Benghazi, send her out there, and so Brian Williams said, "Why send you?".
[Donna] Brazile had sent an email to a top [Hillary] Clinton aide the day before the town hall warning of just that question with almost the identical wording.
CNN says it did not share its coverage materials with any candidate, party or campaign and says it was completely uncomfortable with [Donna] Brazile's involvement with the [Hillary] Clinton camp.
CNN says Donna Brazile, the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, will no longer be a political commentator for the network. This comes after WikiLeaks posted more emails hacked from a top Hillary Clinton aide.
This batch [emails hacked from a top Hillary Clinton aide] shows [Donna] Brazile gave the [Hillary] Clinton campaign advance warning of questions the candidate might be asked at CNN events.
The one thing that struck me right off the bat was what Donald Trump said about Benghazi. There is this view out there that [Hillary Clinton] lied about what caused the attack, that she said it was the video.
While CNN has hired a fleet of new political reporters to beef up its coverage of these elections [2016], it also maintains a huge stable of paid pundits. [Donna] Brazile was on the air and the payroll at CNN while vice chairwoman of the party. She took an absence when she became chief.
It's not hard to see why. Although it adds to our overall understanding of Benghazi, even a cursory read reveals sloppy errors of fact and numerous internal contradictions. For instance, on one page, the report has a top intelligence officer sending an email from Benghazi on September 15, before a crucial White House meeting on the Benghazi talking points.
I wish we had been doing diplomatic security in Benghazi. I can tell you that Benghazi would not have happened if Blackwater were on the job there.
My kids are not interested in anything I do. And I mean that not in any dis to my children or dis to me. My kids have their own life, they could give a sh*t what I do.
Benghazi is not a scandal; Benghazi was a tragedy.
Before it was emails, it was Benghazi, and the Republicans were stirring up so much controversy about that. And I testified for 11 hours, answered their questions. They basically said yeah, didn't get her. We tried. That was all a political ploy.
