Sure, I'd like to play until I'm 40 and even maybe a bit older.
I think a handful of the roles that I've gotten to play are characters whom I've lived that are like younger versions of me but who are maybe more naive and a little bit wilder than when I was. And I've gotten to play 16 and 17 when I was a little bit older, so I got to pull from experience.
I think maybe they're all right when they say there are some things I won't know anything about until I'm older. But if [love] makes you like to eat all kinds of wurst I'm not sure I'm going to like this.
You hear a few people saying that, you know, maybe some of the past male players like to watch me play or whatever else, just because I play a bit differently and maybe they can relate to it a bit more with a bigger forehand rather than a backhand, good serve and whatnot.
I'm sure once my career's over, when I look back when I'm older, I can maybe appreciate it a little bit more.
Growing older is not such a big deal for me, despite the fears that older actresses have in Hollywood. When I hit 40, for example, I didn't feel 40 - or whatever that is supposed to feel like.
I don't usually get to play fathers or grandfathers or uncles. Now that I'm older, maybe I can play people closer to myself. I'd like that.
It would be great to play until I'm 40 like Ryan Giggs.
As I'm getting older, I feel like maybe I need to grow up a bit.
It wasn't until my late teens that I really got into soul music and then I was like 'Ooh, this is good!' You'd always here it at old family parties, like, Gladys Knight and I'd always love it but I didn't really get to know it and respect it until I was a bit older.
When I used to play nightclubs, you had to play Top 40 or favorite oldies that maybe people could relate to.
Do you know, I didn't play a policeman up until I was 40, and then suddenly that's what I have been asked to play.
Maybe I can drive until I'm 36 or 37. 40.
I've never gone out with a guy who is older than me by more than a couple years. Usually it's my age, a little bit older, or even a little bit younger. But not a 15- or 20-year difference.
You never know how it's going to work out. I thought I was ready for the next challenge when I left Melbourne, maybe I was a bit more mature and a bit older.
Maybe I'm a bit superstitious, but I don't like to talk about anything until I've done it.
When you do a song new live on stage, it's kind of a bit weird until it gets worn in, you know, like oiled up a bit. It's still a little bit stiff until you really thrashed at it for a few weeks.
