Through the dancing poppies stole A breeze, most softly lulling to my soul. — © John Keats
Through the dancing poppies stole A breeze, most softly lulling to my soul.
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
"Softly, softly, catchee monkey," is the West African rendering of a very valuable precept. An awful lot of men fail through lack of patient persistence.
Dancing through life Swaying and sweeping And always keeping cool Life is faught less When you're thoughtless Those who don't try Never look foolish Dancing through life Mindless and careless Make sure you're where less Trouble is rife Woes are fleeting Blows are glancing When you're dancing Through life.
I got myself into hot water with the press in 2014 by suggesting that the art installation of poppies in the Tower of London moat should be completed by being malevolently mown down by a tank, in the way that the service men and women whom the poppies represented had been.
Well, the way I see it, there are three possibilities: One, you stole it; two, you stole it; or three, you stole it!
