A Quote by John Keats

My heart aches, and a drowsy numbness pains/ My sense, as though of hemlock I had drunk. — © John Keats
My heart aches, and a drowsy numbness pains/ My sense, as though of hemlock I had drunk.
Let me be clear: MMA training is tough work, and every fighter has had to enter the Octagon with aches and pains as well as exhaustion. This is the game.
I remember in one of my early films I had a drunk scene. It was Kiss Me Goodbye, with Sally Field, and I was playing this kind of nerdy guy who gets drunk and dances. And so I thought, "Oh well, I'll just get drunk and do the dance." And it was wonderful, but then I had the rest of the day, and the next day. So I learned that you don't really have to do the things that your character is doing. But us actors, we use something called sense memory. I've certainly been drunk before, and part of my job is to recall that without getting drunk.
Treat yourself like a fat person with aches and pains and a suitcase full of excuses, and good luck-you'll stay exactly where you are. Train like an athlete and, though you may not look like one now, you will become one.
I feel like I have reached the stage where I can no longer produce for my club, my manager, and my teammates. I had a poor year, but even if I had hit .350, this would have been my last year. I was full of aches an pains and it had become a chore for me to play. When baseball is no longer fun, it's no longer a game.
I wish there was a season where I was playing and didn't have no aches, no pains, no bruises, no nothing.
I wish I had no heart, it aches so.
I had aches and pains when I played. No player is ever 100 percent, 80 percent, 85 percent. Guys that play 158 or 162 or 145, we are all in the same boat.
Banish aches and pains by strengthening and stretching the muscles that affect your back.
...the air so still it aches like the place where the tooth was on the morning after you’ve been to the dentist or aches like your heart in the bosom when you stand on the street corner waiting for the light to change and happen to recollect how things once were and how they might have been yet if what happened had not happened.
Of course every fighter, whether they admit it or not, they have aches and pains and they go into fights hurt.
As athletes, we're always going to have aches and pains, but when your teammates cheer you on, you don't think about it.
To have nothing to do, to sit there waiting for little aches and pains, is fundamentally wrong. Life has to be lived.
I didn't train for powerlifting. I trained as a bodybuilder. I had to train to stress the muscle and not because of what was on the bar. I think my strategy was a good one because I have no aches, pains, or lingering injuries from training today. I feel great.
It's one thing to be twenty and touring the world, but doing it in your forties, you wake up with aches and pains.
Seal my lips on aches and pains. They are increasing, and love of rehearsing them is becoming sweeter as the years go by.
The way a crow Shook down on me The dust of snow From a hemlock tree Has given my heart A change of mood And saved some part Of a day I had rued.
