Walking is easy ... but it requires faith to find the right path. — © John Twelve Hawks
Walking is easy ... but it requires faith to find the right path.
XXIX Traveler, there is no path. The path is made by walking. Traveller, the path is your tracks And nothing more. Traveller, there is no path The path is made by walking. By walking you make a path And turning, you look back At a way you will never tread again Traveller, there is no road Only wakes in the sea.
I am a man of faith and faith is not always supposed to happen and what you see, sometimes it's just walking that path.
I don't think it is difficult to balance professional sports with practising your faith. It is very easy if you follow the right path.
If you’re walking down the right path and you’re willing to keep walking, eventually you’ll make progress.
If you're walking down the right path and you're willing to keep walking, eventually you'll make progress.
No one behind, no one ahead. The path the ancients cleared has closed. And the other path, everyone's path, easy and wide, goes nowhere. I am alone and find my way.
One thing: you have to walk, and create the way by your walking; you will not find a ready-made path. It is not so cheap, to reach to the ultimate realization of truth. You will have to create the path by walking yourself; the path is not ready-made, lying there and waiting for you. It is just like the sky: the birds fly, but they don't leave any footprints. You cannot follow them; there are no footprints left behind.
As I read the New Testament, I find only one path to salvation - the path of an informed faith in Jesus Christ.

Easy means natural; you can find them without any effort. Easy is right means natural is right, effortlessness is right, egolessness is right.
It shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks. Life is not easy. The road to happiness is not a path well trotted. You have to find your own path to enlightenment.
If you have made the good profession, if you claimed to have passed through the gate, if you have received baptism in a public declaration of your faith, and you begin to walk-it doesn't matter how long it appears you're walking in that path-if you step off that path and there's no discipline and you continue on that path, you can have no assurance whatsoever of your salvation. And it is not that you lost your salvation, it's that you're showing now that you never had it. If we would only preach these truths
So too, monks, I saw the ancient path, the ancient road traveled by the Perfectly Enlightened Ones of the past. And what is that ancient path, that ancient road? It is just this Noble Eightfold Path; that is, right view, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right concentration.
Find the light and it will show you the path. The path that is shown by your own light is the only path that is right.
Freedom requires virtue. Virtue requires faith. And faith, in turn, requires freedom. You can't have coerced state-sanctioned religion. It has to be utterly free.
