A Quote by Josh Barnett

I just make sure I'm in good shape to fight whoever's in front of me. — © Josh Barnett
I just make sure I'm in good shape to fight whoever's in front of me.
It's my job to beat whoever the UFC puts in front of me. I don't really care who it is. Whoever they put in front of me, I will just try to go out and beat them.
When I get in there, I try to really make sure there's no quit in me and that whoever I fight is going to have a long night.
At a young age, I really wanted to make music and make my own sort of thing. I'm sure if it wasn't music, it would have been writing, or it would have been maybe painting. I just always had the drive to try and make something with my hands and to just pull something out of myself and shape it and see it in front of me, if that makes any sense.
It's not up to me. I will fight whoever the UFC puts in front of me. If it was up to me, I want to fight Dana White.
My job is to fight whoever they put in front of me.
It's up to the UFC. Whoever they put in front of me, I'll fight.
I think design means, for me, almost when man, back in time, decided to do something conscious. You know... to shape something and make something different from just using things that were lying around. So whoever designed the wheel were onto a good thing.
To me, the producer is there to make sure the album gets done and gets done as good as possible. So if that means that you have to help write a bridge or help write a part, that's what you do. If that means you help tune the guitars, then that's what you do. If that means all you do is tell the band their takes are good and they should stop f——— with things, then that's what you do. If it means you don't do anything except make sure the band doesn't fight, then that's what you do. Sometimes it's a little more stressful than others, but for the most part, you just don't complain about it and you just get it done.
Some cynical biographer said to me, Make sure it's a good death. Make sure you're not picking someone who just declined.
I've fought my whole life. I've fought whoever they put in front of me. Whether it was in boxing or in the street or whatever, I've never backed down from a fight.
Women need to make sure they know what they're talking about. You can't just plant yourself in front of a camera and be pretty because that's just not good enough. It's just not a respectable way about building one's career - in sports or anywhere on TV.
All you can do is the same as any other fight: whoever they put in front of you, you go in there and try to get the W.
Fight, fight, fight and more fight. If you have that burning desire in you, if you're just one of those guys that does not like losing and you fight and you fight and you fight, that's what makes you a good wrestler.
My strategy is just to always compete. Even if they catch 10 balls on me, I make sure that they have to fight for every one of those. That's worked for me.
When you go through difficult times, make sure you pass the test. Don’t be stubborn and hardheaded. Recognize that God is refining you, knocking off some of your rough edges. Stand strong and fight the good fight of faith. God has called each of us to be champions; you are destined to win. If you will work with God and keep a good attitude, then no matter what comes against you, the bible says that all things – not just the good things in life, but all things – work together for your good.
There are things that I am passionate about, whether it's the season or just kind sort of what is necessary for culture. I like the idea that I can shape the culture in any shape or form that I can in whatever topic. But a lot of times, for me, it is about representing "the other," whoever "the other" is.
