Curiosity, fed by feats of imagination, can only grow
I was a voracious reader and the library fed my curiosity, imagination and my soul. I read by the shelf - biographies, fantasy - all and everything fed my dreams. Imagination is best fed by reality, an odd diet for something nonexistent there are few details of daily life and its broad range of emotional context that can't be transformed into food for the imagination.
Where the most beautiful wild flowers grow, there mans spirit is fed and poets grow.
One learns little more about a man from the feats of his literary memory than from the feats of his alimentary canal.
The only real rival of love is Art, for that in itself is a deep personal passion, its function an act of creation, fed by some mysterious perversion of sex, and demanding all the imagination's activities.
Imagination is a flame that ignites the creative spirit. Imagination lights up your mind by stoking mental fires. It can be stimulated from the outside through the senses, or from the inside through the driving power of curiosity and discontent.
When you live in a world of imagination, your imagination doesn't necessarily grow old with you.
Curiosity kills itself; and love is only curiosity, as is proved by its end.
Imagination needs to be fed.
Curiosity killed the cat, but where human beings are concerned, the only thing a healthy curiosity can kill is ignorance.
