I've always liked vintage posters of California beaches.
California to me as a concept or as an idea always seems like endless optimism and endless opportunity - when people think of California they think of palm trees and blue skies and gorgeous sunsets and beaches and everything else.

And California to me as a concept or as an idea always seems like endless optimism and endless opportunity - when people think of California they think of palm trees and blue skies and gorgeous sunsets and beaches and everything else. I am encyclopaedic on World War II. My dad took me to D-Day beaches when I was a kid. I was there four years ago - every five years they have a remembrance on D-Day beaches and I would have liked to have been there and done my bit.
I grew up on the beaches of Southern California surfing and sailing and I've always loved horses so it was part of my dream that I was able to fulfill to have horses.
in California I began to think that, except on the beaches, no-one had the use of their legs.
When I was a kid, I always wanted to live in California because I liked skateboarding.
I've always been inspired by vintage clothing and vintage styles.
I grew up in Orange County, California, all over the beaches of San Clemente and that area.
I feel so fortunate. I was brought up along the beaches in Southern California, and then got to have horses.
I love how Hollywood still wants to perpetuate the myth that beaches in Southern California are warm at night.
Besides great climates and lovely beaches, California and Greece share a fondness for dysfunctional politics and feckless budgeting.
I always wanted to be a Californian. In my wildest dreams, I always liked California - it's the place where oranges grows on trees! Fruit just falls off the trees.
I always liked dressing up. I think, because I always liked performing, I always liked costumes and things like that.
I have always appreciated vintage clothing, but after working on 'Call the Midwife' for six months, I love moving away from vintage in my day-to-day wear.
I had 45 Avril Lavigne posters. Those were my first posters.
