I am always open to any film from any place, given the role and the script is interesting.
I would consider doing any part as long as the script is good and the film has an interesting director.
I had to audition for Fandango. When I read the script, the role that was interesting - so everyone thought - was the role that Costner played. He was the cool guy. And I read the script, and my representation at the time said, "That's the role you should read for." And I was like, "Really? How about I read for this other role." And they went, "Well, you're not going to get that role."
I am open to any good script and the character I can do justice to.
Chaung Tzu was one of the most natural men the world has seen. He has not given any discipline, he has not given any doctrine, he has not given any catechism. He has simply explained one thing: that if you can be natural and ordinary, just like the birds and trees, you will blossom, you will have your wings open in the vast sky.
My criteria has always been the script, director and character. But I also attach importance to the production house. After all, the banner has to go all out to present the film in a grand manner. I am ready to work with any house that is capable of marketing and packaging a film well.
That's why everybody loves to tune in and watch these fights, because at any given moment, any given fight, any given fighters, anything can happen. A fighter could win nine out of 10 times, but there's always that one time.
I am only looking forward to good film script. It doesn't matter if the role is a supporting or a standalone role.
I am not choosy and would work in any film with a good script.
For any role, I pretty much always go to the script, first and foremost.
I am very much open to doing cinematography for any talented filmmaker, if the script is good.
I don't come from a film background, so I am free to work in any script that interests me.
I'm open to doing any kind of role and any kind of genre as long as it's interesting and as long as I feel it could be a great character to play. I never take into my own personal opinions or my own public image into account when I chose movie roles.
Even on television, it is all about the script of the show and my character. It has nothing to do with whether I am bagging the lead role or any other.
I almost always do things that I like, in some form or fashion. Every once in awhile that means that I don't think the script is any good and I don't have any trust in the people, but the film is shooting in Sri Lanka, or somewhere like that, so I'm going.
I live in a constant state of gratitude, thankfulness, and appreciation for the second chance I was given, so anytime in any film, when that is given to someone, I always appreciate it.
I am open to taking up any interesting projects that come my way.
