I'm really happy in my own skin.
I really had to figure out who I was and be confident in my own skin. Now I've done that, and I'm very happy in a relationship.
I feel comfortable on and off the court, happy in my own skin, just really comfortable with the way I'm playing my tennis.
Be happy in your own skin.
I'm happy inside my own skin.
I am happy in my own skin.
I actually don't prepare for onscreen nudity. I really believe that you have to be comfortable with your own body and unless the role is directed to a certain physicality and you're playing a sports person, then obviously you've got to train for it, but I just try and do things that make me happy and comfortable in my own skin, so I've gotten into yoga quite a lot.
You've got to be happy in your own skin.
I'm amazed if people are happy in their own skin.
For me, it's really important to take care of my skin. Especially because when I see someone, and they're just so fresh and beautiful, you always notice their skin first. So having a really good skin-care regimen is a must. I just wish I would have started taking care of my skin earlier!
I think the more people that feel comfortable in their own skin and feel happy that they can come out and know that it's not going to affect their job or moving up in their career is the way forward. Just making people feel happy and comfortable in their own job and in their sport.
I have really sensitive skin, so all I use is Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser and Moisturizing Cream, and then during the day, I'll use CeraVe with SPF, but nothing crazy. My skin also gets really dry, so I do a mask from time to time - or if my skin is feeling dull, then I'll put one on.
I'm really happy in my own skin. There's a lot of judgment that can come from outside sometimes, and there's media scrutiny that is placed on a lot of women in the public eye, and I just couldn't care less. I really couldn't care less. 'I would sometimes say in my twenties, 'oh, I couldn't care less', but I think I probably did. Now I genuinely don't and that's a lovely, liberating thing to experience.
There's not many models in the U.S. that have my depth - like, really dark skin - that are also plus size. Skin color has been one of those things we haven't really, really addressed on a large, widespread scale.
My mom has really great skin; my dad has really good skin. I don't feel like I have to do a lot of work in regards to that.
I know I'm really happy to most people, but when my skin is bad it makes me cry and I lose all my confidence.
I have never been a Marilyn Monroe wannabe. I have always been happy in my own skin!
