The Internet, I'm trying to point out, is a kooks' paradise. Anybody with a keyboard and a modem can spread fear, loathing, and just plain asinine ideas among hundreds of thousands of people with the click of a button. Discouraging, but true.
I get amazed, I can't look at it but about 10 seconds, at these politicians dancing around this, dancing around this, I'm trying to find a correct name for it, this utter absolute, asinine, idiotic stupidity of men marrying men.
I'm trying mostly to ask questions. And not just trying to stake out a position on something, but also trying to define the stuff we agree on. I'm having battles with comment posters trying to insert a little sense of order so it's not just a long pissing match between the edges, which is what I think a lot of the blogosphere is tending to do.
My faith is central to everything I do. My faith position is a Good Samaritan position of trying to watch out for the other person.
I tell you, if I was in the same position I was in 1975, trying to leave a communist country and trying to live a free life, America is not the country that I would think about going to considering how many rights the GOP is trying to take away.
How often have we seen politicians take a principle position only to give it up three days later? That is what makes democracy so fascinating.
Anger makes people feel uncomfortable, because the minute somebody shows it, it puts you in a position where you can't laugh or make light of something... not to trivialise it I don't mean. It often works on people who aren't in a position to fight back.
When you're writing for a movie, you're trying to capture the emotion of a scene. I find it a fascinating process.
The game, let's say, of trying to state photographic problems is, for me, absolutely fascinating.
Trying to find a way to represent something that is truly frightening on stage is a fascinating challenge.
According to me, every actor is struggling in the industry. Someone is trying to live up to their father's name, or someone is trying hard to retain the number one position.
Today you have something like A Film by Joe Harry. That is patently asinine and ridiculous.
One of the surprising privileges of intellectuals is that they are free to be scandalously asinine without harming their reputations.
I regard the bitcoin craze as totally asinine to create some manufactured currency.
Since I'm not focusing on my speed as much now as I was heading into the combine, I'm really focusing on my position work, trying to perfect how I play the safety position. I've been doing a lot of backpedaling and drills that focus on turning my hips, which help me out on the football field.
I love history, and Churchill is one of my favorite people to study. He's a fascinating, fascinating man.
