I need to be more cautious while determining which points in the match I have to focus and how I can win break points in a more assured manner.
To win games sometimes I need to get more in attack, and sometimes I need to defend more, but the main thing is to focus on getting the three points every game, and I will manage when to go forward more and when to help the team in defence.
Stats don't matter. I care about winning, not stats. If I score 0 points and we win I'm happy. If I score 50, 60 points, break the records, and we lose, I'm pissed off. 'Cause I knew I did something wrong. I'll have a hell of a season if I win the championship and average 20 points a game.
The champions are the team with the most points...if United have more points, it means they have more points, that's all. Nothing else.
This is football from the 19th century. It's very difficult to play a football match when only one team wants to play. A football match is about two teams playing. I told Big Sam, they need points. To come here the way they did, is that acceptable? Maybe it is, they need points. The only thing I could bring more was Black & Decker - a Black & Decker to destroy the West Ham wall.
Any time Detroit scores more than 100 points and holds the other team below 100 points they almost always win.
Certainly our job as an offense to try to score points and that's running the ball, throwing the ball, whatever it is. Somehow, someway we've got to try to score points to help our team win. That's where the focus is and it's pretty easy just to focus on that.
Having diverse leadership means there are more voices in the room, and there are more different points of entry for people who are being bullied or abused at work. There are more points of entry for them to complain to.
I'd rather take 30 points and win a Cup than I would 100 points and not win.
We are more inclined to hate one another for points on which we differ, than to love one another for points on which we agree.
I find increasingly that the more extreme are the things going on in your life, the more cultural reference points fail you. More mythical reference points actually help, and you realise that's what myths are for. It's for human beings to process their experience in extremis.

You have to win games by scoring points, of course, so that's important. But when you're having nights against a good defensive team, you have to win in a different manner. You have to win a defensive-type game.
Wonder is that possession of the mind that enchants the emotions while never surrendering reason. It is a grasp on reality that does not need constant high points in order to be maintained, nor is it made vulnerable by the low points of life's struggle.
So what if you have two points? As long as we win, what does it matter? What if you don't have no points?
If Scott Brown can win in a state that President Obama won by 26 points, I can win in a district that Obey won by just 20 points against an unknown, underfunded challenger in the Democratic landslide of 2008. It means there is not a single Democrat in the country who is safe.
I'm going to win or lose a match playing on my terms, playing my game, which is big and aggressive and trying to dictate points. Not shying away from that.
