I think women should inspire. It is our duty to inspire young girls to play a sport, whether it's just for enjoyment and keeping fit or to actually go on and try and make a career out of it.
I want to motivate and inspire young girls to pursue their dreams, no matter how big they are, and encourage them to never set limitations on what they believe they can achieve.
I want to inspire other young women of color and empower them. I want them to know that they can do and be anything they dream of.
If I had killed somebody, it wouldn't have had so much appeal to the press, you see? But f-ing, you see, and the young girls. Judges want to f- young girls. Juries want to f- young girls. Everyone wants to f- young girls!
I want kids, young women, young girls especially, who oftentimes by junior high they think they can't do math or science... I want them to know that it's creative, it's problem solving, and it's for everyone.
When I get a script that has the opportunity to create discussion and inspire young girls, I don't want to say no to that... I just want to contribute.
I'm thrilled to continue my partnership with U by Kotex for Generation Know while helping to empower girls. I've always been a motivational resource for my younger sisters and hope I can positively impact and inspire other young girls too.
When I get up and work out, I'm working out just as much for my girls as I am for me, because I want them to see a mother who loves them dearly, who invests in them, but who also invests in herself. It's just as much about letting them know as young women that it is okay to put yourself a little higher on your priority list.
I just want people to be inspired - not only young girls but young people in general - and I just want them to know they can do anything they want to do, and they are beautiful, and they are smart.
I hope to inspire everyone - especially young people, women, and young girls all over the world, and in Middle Eastern countries that do not provide women with the same opportunities as men - to not give up their dreams and to pursue them.
In a World Cup, the girls at Lyon are probably the ones that are going to change the games, and I know them inside out.
I think girls from a young age know what they want, and boys kind of have to keep up and catch up to them. Even in kindergarten, girls are pretty much the ones that like the boy first and the boys are like, 'Oh, I want to play with my trucks.' They think it's not cool. I think girls are definitely more ahead than boys.
I do want to inspire people - young girls who may like to wear boys' clothes and who romanticize women and feel nothing wrong with it.
Role models can inspire. Campaigns can motivate. But if we want all girls everywhere to rise up, then we must find them, befriend them and support them.
I want young girls that I mentor and young girls all around the world who want to be a model to be able to see that there's a great deal of sacrifice.
Inspire people very selectively with sincerity and with respect. You want to increase your energy? Then want, inside your heart, to inspire others. It will lift you tremendously.
