In football, things happen so quickly.
Things can happen very quickly in football.
It is massive progress in the space of a year being a Man United regular and playing for Wales. But things happen so quickly in football you have to be ready for anything.
You just can't believe how quickly things happen in football and the way life turns. I went from being the bad guy, the worst player who gets all the criticism, to being the player who makes the difference and scores the important goals.
Football is football, and a thousand things can happen.
I understand why people are discouraged about Iraq. I can understand that. We live in a, you know, world in which people hope things happen quickly. And this is a situation where things don't happen quickly because there's, you know, a very tough group of people using tactics - mainly the killing of innocent people - to achieve their objective, and they're skillful about how they do this. And they also know the impact of what it means on the consciousness of those of us who live in the free world. They know that.
In football, things change quickly.
I do know it's great to have a support from a fan base of a team. Football is such a team game, such a team aspect to it... Good things happen, the praise is spread around; and bad things happen, usually it's not just one person's fault.

There are so many rollbacks of rights women have gained - and it can happen quickly, more quickly than we think. I think it would be good for us to think back and ahead to protect the space we're in.
Football can change really quickly; you really are king for a day. Once you get caught up with things and think you've arrived... you've never arrived in football.
Even though I feel very privileged to play football, with the things I have experienced within the game, it is not something I would be shouting from the rooftops, to recommend to people's children to be footballers. Because there are a lot of things that happen on a day-to-day basis at club football that I wouldn't wish on anybody.
In football, sometimes things go very quickly.
In football and paper things look different but surprises happen, it's why I don't believe in having a favorites role in every game we play because the unpredictable can happen.
Now what kind of an attitude is that, 'These things happen?' They only happen because this whole country is just full of people who, when these things happen, they just say, 'These things happen,' and that's why they happen! We gotta have control of what happens to us.
In football, we never know what will happen. That's why football is so beautiful, and a lot of people love football.
I can't speak on transfer value and people's stock and all that. In football things change so quickly.
I've no doubt about the attitude of the players. Everything moves quickly in football; we coaches move on quickly from victory and defeat.
