It's good to see people experimenting with their looks.
I am very impulsive when it comes to experimenting with my looks and love playing with ideas by involving people from all walks of life.
The way to see what looks good and understand the reasons it looks good, and to be at one with this goodness as the work proceeds, is to cultivate an inner quietness, a peace of mind so that goodness can shine through.
People will take a picture of themselves and start looking at themselves and decide their neck looks weird. They see a celebrity selfie and wonder how she looks so good, and why her lips look so big.
This looks a good team on paper, let's see how it looks on grass.
Sometimes, when you go to airport and look at the people, you see the worst looks - but the worst looks can give you more ideas than the best looks.
I like to see a video through a computer or through a phone to make sure it looks good at its worst. I hate when you perfect something for the ideal way of consuming things, and then when you see it on YouTube, it looks like crap.
If you have your own taste, you know what looks right and what looks good on you versus someone kind of telling you what looks good on you.
I liked experimenting with a lot of different styles. So, it always saddens me when I see young people, or even older people for that matter, who are limited to one specific type of music. They don't really allow themselves to experience so many types of music out there that are so wonderful to listen to. And there's good parts and bad parts, I guess, to all of them.
I have this great test to see if a girl's a real friend. When we're shopping I'll pick out an outfit that I know looks hot and one that is awful. If my friend says the bad one looks good, I know she's not a good friend.
I am wondering when - if - I have to cut my hair. I think it looks terrible if you have really long hair and it's gone gray. So I am experimenting with wearing it up. Up, with pearls. I think that's quite a good look.
Maybe it's good a thing that people see me this way [in the documentary film]. They expect to see me with the high heels, the glamour looks, but now they will see me running through an airport with flat shoes! Also, they'll discover that stylists with "names" are in general nicer, sweeter, have a heart, have great relationships with family and friends, and that's important. It shows that people in fashion aren't just freaks.
People ask for this life, but they don't really understand what comes with it. People just see the outside and that looks good - big houses, cars, girls, but you never see how the person is feeling deep down inside. Me personally, being a man, I'm going to feel better displaying all of this and pouring my heart out on each record.
My best work is always done... when I'm experimenting. If I stop experimenting I feel it just becomes a drudgery.
The first thing you do before you take a swing with a driver is put it down and see how it looks to your eye. If you don't like how it looks, it's going to be difficult to hit a good shot.
My focus has always been on talent over looks. This theme of people putting an emphasis on looks first has been a constant reminder throughout my life that most people don’t see things in the same way that I do.
I enjoy experimenting and trying new beauty products. It is fun to try new looks!
