I think the only festival I ever went to was Warped Tour.
Warped Tour is completely in a league of its own. It's this crazy cross between a real, full tour and a festival.
We think of the Warped Tour as kind of like everyone's big birthday party.
My first tour I did was The Warped Tour, and I was likening myself to the bearded lady at the circus because not only was I an actor touring, doing rock n' roll, but I was also a female front person making really muscular, male-dominated rock music.
I had a blast doing the Warped Tour, but it's good to be home, for sure.
And I hope we get the chance to play Warped Tour. That would be really nice.
The 2005 Test tour to India was special, as I captained and we won at Bangalore, and it was a great tour for us, and even winning against India at Lahore in 2004 was a memorable day for me.
I got married in Vegas on Warped Tour on July 4 - that's how crazy my life has been.
Being able to be one of the headline bands on Warped Tour was a dream I had since I was in middle school.
I think that everybody that's coming out to Warped Tour, when they come to see the show, they're always like; let's go see that band that band that band and... that girl. I think that I tend to be that girl sometimes and I think that it's cool that I get to hang out with this Summer camp of smelly boys.
Well, I'm half Italian, so last year on Warped Tour I got this really good tan and I was like, bummer.
Growing up, I went to the Warped Tour a lot, and I got to see bands like Rancid and AFI and Dropkick Murphys and these bands that meant so much to me when I was a kid - all in succession on these stages, so to get to play that same stage that I watched those bands play is a huge thing for me.
When something special happens in wrestling, it's that much more special to me and for me to go, 'That was awesome,' because I'm as bitter as there is, so if you can get me to go, 'Woah, that was cool,' a couple of times, it's a special show.
A lot of people are just really confused by me; they don’t know what to think of me, so they try to compartmentalize me or diminish me. Maybe they just feel unsafe. But any time you have an overtly emotional or irrational, negative reaction to something, you’re fearing something that it’s bringing up in you.
So much of boxing is to do with your mental state. Evander Holyfield talks about spirit. I definitely have that spirit and feel like I've got something special inside me. It's about me bringing it out, controlling it and using it to become world champion.
My tour manager, I met him at Boot Barn. He was selling me a pair of boots... and he said, 'I moved to Nashville to be a tour manager, and I need work right now,' and I said, 'Man, I don't even have a tour manager. So you can tour-manage me.'
