Crazy is a compliment.
Who doesn't love a compliment? But every compliment comes with a warning: Beware—Do Not Overuse. Go ahead, sniff your compliment. Take a little sip. But don't chew, don't swallow. If you do, you risk abandoning the good work that inspired the compliment in the first place. If that happens, maybe it was the compliment and not the job well done that you were aiming for all along.
I think 'crazy' is a compliment. I think you make money with people who are crazy.
You can't rock the boat without being told you're off your rocker. Entrepreneurs' greatest asset is their contrarian way of thinking, their tendency to zig when others zag, to go in a new direction. I say not only is crazy a compliment, but if you're not called crazy when you start something new, then you're not thinking big enough!
If there are people who admire us and what we do, that's a huge compliment. As long as it doesn't get too crazy.
Do not offer a compliment and ask a favor at the same time. A compliment that is charged for is not valuable.
Getting a compliment, even if you need a cooty shot afterwards, is still a compliment.
The biggest compliment I get is that I don't sound like anybody else. I think I value that as the highest compliment.
For me it's a compliment, playing baddie characters. I take it as a compliment.
It's still a compliment when you're backed by younger and older, but it's actually unexpected. It's surprising, but for me it's in fact the most beautiful compliment.
I used to think that a guy telling me I'm "not like other girls" was a compliment and I've now flipped to seeing that for the back-handed compliment that it is.
You don't scare me, Cadence Jones. I've lived with crazy, I've ridden with crazy, I've vacationed with crazy, I've visited crazy in various hospitals, I've sat in on therapy sessions with crazy. Frankly, I think women who don't have major emotional disorders are really very dull.
I'm not crazy, but it's a crazy life. I was raised in a crazy family and it took 31 years to get the crazy out of me.
People say, 'Oh, Rick, he's crazy.' Well, I'm crazy, and I'm not crazy... When I went to my high school reunion, I was the only one there doing what he said he was going to do. How crazy is that?
It takes the same energy to complain as it does to compliment. When there is a short circuit, there is a complaint, and when the energy is flowing, there is a compliment.
Lovely was my compliment. Could you not come up with your own?" "Lord Paen said compliment her, he did not say we had to be creative about it," the second man pointed out with a shrug
When an audience does not complain, it is a compliment, and when it does, it is a compliment, too, if unaccompanied by violence.
