In general, working on a horror movie is no different than working on any movie. Turn the camera around and there's 20, 30 people standing around, eating doughnuts, smoking cigarettes between takes, working, like any other set.
That's just like America. It's made up of lots of different people. Noah Baumbach does more takes than any director I've ever worked with. He runs a very quiet set and he runs a very hard working set. Ghost Team approached me. They said, "Hey, it's mid-October, do you want to go shoot a movie on Long Island for three weeks about stupid people chasing ghosts?" There's nobody who loves being around actors working more than David Mamet, especially actors bringing his tremendous dialogue to life. I've never seen a movie director who was happier to be directing a movie than Dave.
Anything is better than sitting around waiting for the right movie to come along. I lose my edge when I'm sitting around the pool not working.

Actually shooting a 3-D movie is not different at all than making a 2-D one. You never really notice that you're making a 3-D movie. The terminology used around the set is a little bit different, but other than that, you'd never know.
