I want people who visit my Instagram account to realize how hard I've worked for everything I have now.
Instagram - it's fun, but Facebook, no, just here and there. I use Instagram as a kick, like when somebody tells me to check out so-and-so's Instagram account to check out their French toast or a trip to Tanzania. But I don't have an account.
I love Instagram - I don't actually go on Twitter and tweet; I just connect it through my Instagram account. I think it's a good way of getting stuff out there and connecting with people.
My mom did a good job making sure I worked for everything I got. Really, it just helped me realize the real world and how people who don't have everything have to work for stuff.
I think people want to see a hero. It's interesting that with everything that goes on now from shootings to everything, as time goes on, I'm just starting to realize just how bad people want to see a regular hero.
My parents worked very hard for everything that they got. Their parents worked hard. It's just something that is passed down to you, and whatever you want to accomplish, you have to work hard to get it, and that's always been that mentality that my family has, and I think that's something that was passed on to me.
People can say what they want to say, but at the end of the day, I can look at myself in the mirror. I know how hard I fought. I know how many storylines I pitched. I know how hard I worked in the ring.
I've worked so hard to eliminate the inner geek from my life. I suddenly realize I have no patience for those people who still have their geeks showing. Now I see why being 'normal' has been so important to me.
Professionally, I want to be remembered for how hard I worked and how I put my heart and soul into my work. Personally, I want people to remember my heart.
You realize you can get good at something, even though ballet almost felt like you could never be good enough. No matter how hard you worked, it was so hard to be a great dancer.
Anyone who has been with me from the beginning has worked from the trenches with me and they've worked really hard. People that I have brought in where I am now, they haven't worked the way that we have, they haven't lost the sleep, and you know, the blood, sweat, and tears.
I have more than 4 million followers on Instagram. All the companies I work for want me to guarantee how much I'll post for them, but I'm not going to force my career onto the people who follow me. I refuse to do 40 Instagram posts about any campaign.
My dad worked hard to take care of six kids. He worked hard to make sure we had everything we needed.
Great leaders must be able to realize when something isn’t working-no matter how hard they’ve worked to make it succeed.
[When] I was young and I listened to everything - I took everything to heart. I didn't really realize how much people want to talk badly about you when you're down, or kick you when you're down. As basketball players, people think everybody's ultra-confident. But that's not the case.
Some people think all I did was trash talk. But ask my teammates, coaches - they saw how hard I worked, how hard I prepared.
I worked so hard all my life, and all I want to do now is read.
