I've done quite a bit in England. I've won the majority of trophies and awards that there is to win, apart from top goalscorer... which is hard as a defender.
I've always said and I've never hidden the fact that I want to play at the top, be England's No 1 and win trophies.
It's always lovely to win trophies, have nice things said about you, and be nominated for individual awards. But I feel I can give more - a lot more - to both Lyon and England, and that is definitely my focus.
Of course, the Premier League is one of the trophies we want to win and I think to win the Europa League would be good for the mentality of winning trophies and fighting with the top clubs.
If we win trophies, we have the chance to win individual awards because it comes with the team targets.
I hate to speak about individuals. Players don't win you trophies, teams win trophies, squads win trophies.
The Queen of England is Defender of the Faith but the President of the United States is Defender of the Constitution, which defends all faiths.
Every time I step onto the pitch for England, I feel great pride. I want to keep working hard to stay in the starting XI and push on to win trophies.
I say have the night and give people the awards, but why do people want to watch people win awards? What are they getting out of it? I don't quite get it. Because they have awards all the time; there's awards for butchers, the best meat served, but they don't televise it. I don't know why they do it for films or TV programs.
It was hard walking around the pitch... You do that when you win trophies. The fans were throwing flags on and that was hard to take, something which put a lump in your throat.
If we win trophies, it is the most important thing. Of course, it's good for a player to win individual awards and I will never say I don't want to be the best player in the league or I don't want to be the PFA Player of the Season.
I recently spent quite a bit of time in Sheffield, England, which is where I'm from. I wouldn't move back there, but it's funny when you spend a bit of time in the place where you were brought up. You kind of realize how that place has had quite a big effect on you or made you a certain way.
You can't win any trophies unless you've got a top goalkeeper.
There are massive clubs with massive amounts of money, and Liverpool were always a little bit behind. But if you create a good team, a good atmosphere, and work hard, you can get there. You can win trophies.
I learned some classical music history, which I had done quite a bit at of Performing Arts. But I got some more with a great teacher named David Noon, who I've been in contact with quite a bit in recent years.
I will give everything to help City become one of the biggest and most important clubs in England - and win some trophies.
As a professional, you want to get as much as you can out of your career, play at the top level, and win trophies. Playing with top players at Manchester City, I've got a great chance of doing that, and I just want to keep improving.
