My life and focus are my children, and caring for my mother with her health issues. So when I'm with my friends I want to enjoy their company and not get wrapped up in the distractions.
I find anger to be funny. I find people that are so wrapped up in their own personalities to be funny, and lost. Like myself in real life.
Fast-moving views are not likely to be strongly held views. Instead, they're much more likely to be about people mirroring back the signals they see coming from the leaders they support. People can resolve dissonance by shifting their own view on issues that aren't top of mind.
It's easy to get wrapped up in sharing everyday life with a partner. It's fun to get lost in love and romance. It's the best. But holding on to yourself while doing that is the most important thing.
I favor candidates who are biblically oriented, who hold the views of the Ten Commandments.
The society wants you to have beautiful personalities; the society wants you to have personalities which are comfortable for the society, convenient for the society. Sometimes we tend to focus more on the personalities and the conflicts, and it really caricatures the issues.
Our environment is too important to neglect and it's time for the federal government to focus on real solutions and live up to their promises.
While I can hold my own with great talents and have an opinion in the face of big personalities, I'm just a regular guy. I've accepted my position in life: that I'm never going to be that cool. And I'm okay with that.
It's not hard to assume that voters do not have deeply considered views on each and every policy issue before them but instead, perhaps, have one or two strongly held views and then allow their favored political leaders to fill in the gaps on the rest of the issues.
I think people are looking for a president who has views and who sticks to those views. So, I think Governor Romney, Governor Perry, Governor Huntsman are all terrific candidates. I think we got a chance to elect a real, executive leader.
We have perfected the art of finding problems without fixing real-world issues. We focus too much on complexity, not harm.
I was fortunate to not get wrapped up too hard in anything that was too dangerous.
