What, really, was the difference between something hounding you and something leading you somewhere?
Honestly, as an athlete, you generally know. Your body talks to you. You know the difference between something that's hurting, sore vs. something that's going to hurt you in the long run if you try to go really push off or something.
I have something to say about the difference between American and European cities, but I forgot what it was. I have it written down at home somewhere.
You're always on your way somewhere. The key is: find a way to be happy wherever you now are on your way to where you really want to be. (We're speaking of the state of being you want.) It does not matter where you are; where you are is shifting constantly - but you must turn your attention to where you want to go. And that's the difference between making the best of something and making the worst of something.
Mothers know the difference between a broth and a consommé. And the difference between damask and chintz. And the difference between vinyl and Naugahyde. Once you become aware of what means the most to you, you're less likely to put off something that's really valuable for something that matters much less... it's knowing the difference between what's important and what isn't that allows us to solve problems effectively.
Somewhere between psychotic and iconic/ Somewhere between I want it and I got it/ Somewhere between I’m sober and I’m lifted/ Somewhere between a mistress and commitment
I'd say there's more of a difference between a play and movie to TV than there is between TV and movies. But there's something involved in the repetition of things that require something different from me in order to sign onto a script.
The difference between something good and something great is attention to detail.
Understand the acute difference between the cost of something and the value of something.
The difference between a 20-something and a 30-something man? Wisdom. At 20 years old, we dont really get how sensitive and beautiful women are. By 30, were finally starting to learn.
I don't really think there's much difference between a character actor and a leading man besides aesthetics.
Some people have difficulty telling the difference between something great and something they've simply heard of.
He knew that there was a difference between something that makes you happy and something that doesn’t make you unhappy. The trick was convincing yourself these were one and the same.
