Teams really take into account character. — © Matt Cassel
Teams really take into account character.
I think every time you take a female character, a black character, a Hispanic character, a gay character, and make that the point of the character, you are minimalizing the character.
I’m not for profiling people on the color of their skin or on their religion. But I would take into account where they've been traveling and perhaps you might indirectly have to take into account whether or not they've been going to radical political speeches by religious leaders. It wouldn't be that they are Islamic. But if someone is attending speeches from someone who is promoting the violent overthrow of our government, that’s really an offense that we should be going after. They should be deported or put in prison.
Take account of your deeds before they are taken account of.
One thing we wanted to take from traditional sports with 'Overwatch League' - we have city-based teams. There aren't really any other models where you have a global city-based league. But you do have teams that are based in a location.
It is important to take into account the total power cost borne by consumers after taking into account what they spend on inverters and gensets.
Take account of yourselves before you are brought to account.
I'd like to think that every captain around the world has a vision of how they want their teams to play and most of them are allowed to take their teams forward in their own way.
What we did wrong on 'RoboCop,' we just did something new and didn't really take into account what the fans really loved about the original.
Reputation is what people think you are. Character is who you really are. Take care of your character and your reputation will take care of itself. The more I want to get something done, the less I call it work.
Not a lot of teams take you into consideration, like a lot of teams can easily decide to if you're hurt or anything, make you go play.
With money we really fool ourselves. We are our biggest enemies with money and there are some things we can do about it. Automatic deductions are a wonderful thing. But ideally, you should wait until the end of the month, you can see how much extra money you had, and you should put that in your savings account. We don't do that too well, and if we did that, we would never save. So, what we do, is we take money out of our pocket into the saving account at the beginning of the month, take it outside of our control and as a consequence, we spend less and we save more.
Our moral sense really evolved to bind groups together into teams that can cooperate in order to compete with other teams.
It wasn't until 'Double Take' that I was in a movie as the leading man, in a character that was more straight and less broad than the other character, and where the story is really about him.
Most teams don't do anything. Really it's just take the ball out the basket, pick-and-roll, and run.
It's really an organic sort of process. You start off with the character on the page. You fall in love with that character and you have to represent that character well and I think it's just an evolution there. Using the accent and speaking the lines with the accent in fact opens the door to who the character really is.
And, for any performer, to be able to go deep into character is fantastic. In film you only get to do that if you're the leading character. But in television you get 18 hours to really test the audience and take them to the edge of how far they will go with this character. I can step over this line and I love that.
