A Quote by Maxim Gorky

Truth doesn't always heal a wounded soul. — © Maxim Gorky
Truth doesn't always heal a wounded soul.
People always say it's harder to heal a wounded heart than a wounded body. Bullshit. It's exactly the opposite—a wounded body takes much longer to heal. A wounded heart is nothing but ashes of memories. But the body is everything. The body is blood and veins and cells and nerves. A wounded body is when, after leaving a man you’ve lived with for three years, you curl up on your side of the bed as if there’s still somebody beside you. That is a wounded body: a body that feels connected to someone who is no longer there.

That's what I think the wounded healer would do. We're all wounded in one way or another. The question is, can we heal?
Only the love that flows from the heart of Christ can heal. Only He in whom that love flows, even as the sap in the tree or the blood in the body, can restore the wounded soul.
Everyone alive has suffered. It is the wisdom gained from our wounds and from our own experiences of suffering that makes us able to heal. Becoming expert has turned out to be less important than remembering and trusting the wholeness in myself and everyone else. Expertise cures, but wounded people can best be healed by other wounded people. Only other wounded people can understand what is needed, for the healing of suffering is compassion, not expertise.
All disease has a mental correspondence, and in order to heal the body one must first 'heal the soul'.
Physical wounds heal, but those on the soul are difficult to heal.
Information is seldom enough to heal a wounded heart.
Only the wounded healer can truly heal. (97)
we're all wounded in some way, im just tryin to heal!
But the soul has no culture. The soul has no nations. The soul has no colour or accent or way of life. The soul is forever. The soul is one. And when the heart has its moment of truth and sorrow, the soul can't be stilled.
The soul always knows what to do to heal itself. The challenge is to silence the mind
Love overlooks a person’s faults. That’s not always easy, but love believes the best in every person. Anybody can return evil for evil, but God wants His people to help heal wounded hearts.
The quivering flesh, though torture-torn, may live, but souls, once deeply wounded, heal no more.
A wounded heart will heal in time, and when it does, the memory and love of our lost ones is sealed inside to comfort us.
