There's this thing that publishes pictures of people out and about. So when I go out, I do see pictures of myself. I don't know where those pictures come from - I mean, I don't see the cameras. But I guess I'm just not looking for them.
I don't shop just high-end, honestly. I shop at Zara, I shop at Topshop, I shop at H&M. I shop everywhere.
Ideas come from everywhere - they come from what you see and hear and imagine.
First we have to see. Or first we have to be taught to see. We have to be taught to see here, because here is everywhere, related to everywhere else, and if we don't see, hear, taste, smell and feel in this place - not only will we never know anything but the world of sense will be by that much diminished everywhere.

The Class Clown album was done totally sober. I'd realized what a hell I'd made for myself and I cleaned up completely for three months. You can hear the clarity of my thinking and of my speech on that album.
The thing is that pictures are everywhere. The question is what we don't see, and why don't we see so much. I just see it.
My sense of style is influenced by how I feel. I want to express myself because they see you before they hear you. You want to come on stage, and what you look like should represent the song you are playing or the set you are about to play or the message in your music.

Whether you hear me come out with another album or whether you hear any one of the Clan members, we're always going to involve everybody.
