I want to put myself in the best position to stay out on the floor.
I feel like I put pressure on myself to perform well and to play well and to do well. That's what I expect of myself. It's not always going to happen, but I can certainly sort of put myself in the position where I can get the best out of myself.
I think the only expectation is that I put on myself to do everything right and to put myself in a position to perform as best that I can.
I just feel like, at any moment, a drag or a trans or a gender-diverse artist that doesn't fit in a box is ready to break into the mainstream. I want to do my best to put myself in the best position to have that happen for me.
There's no real road map to L.A. Everyone's journey is different. You have to persevere and be willing to put everything in it. You have to stick it out. I don't really have a safety net, but what I do is put myself in the best possible position to succeed by working hard. Also, be careful who you let into your life.
You can just sweep the floor generally and gain nothing from it. Or you can figure out the best way to sweep the floor, put your power into it, use it as a concentration exercise, and be meditative.
Individually, yeah, I want to be the best version of me. But I want to make everyone else feel comfortable on the floor where they can go out there and they are just playing their game. That's when I'm the happiest, when every guy on the floor is just being that.
I only want to put out the best for myself and my subscribers.
When you're prepared, and you do the best you can do, and you put it out there on the floor, you've just got to live with the results.
I worked extremely hard to put myself in the best position to not have to worry about things when I was out there. Because if I was out of shape, or if I didn't feel well, or if it was going to be a long match or a hot match, or something like that, a lot more things creep into your head.
I know I've put myself in a position to develop and grow and become the best goalkeeper and person that I can be.
What makes me unique is my ability to adapt to different situations and switch onto smaller guards and stay out there. Another component to being out there on the floor - and this is something that I learned as my college career went on - was staying on the floor, literally, comes down to not picking up fouls.
I want to understand everything so I can put myself in a position to be successful.
You want to put yourself in the best position to try and win.
I'm aware families sit around the telly to watch 'Vera', which is making entertainment out of murder. But I don't enjoy reading about people's pain. I tend to put myself in that position, and it's not somewhere I want to be.
I think about how much depends upon a best friend. Then you wake up in the morning you swing your legs out of bed and you put your feet on the ground and you stand up. You don't scoot to the edge of the bed and look down to make sure the floor is there. The floor is always there. Until it's not.
If I could be generous and move forward and spread my feelers business-wise and also creatively, that's the best position to put myself in.
