I promised myself that I would write as well as I can, tell the truth, not to tell everything I know, but to make sure that everything I tell is true, as I understand it. And to use the eloquence which my language affords me.
Several generations of high school students have grown up ignoring and disbelieving everything they've heard from government and police about drugs, including information that was factual and valid, because they discovered for themselves that most of what has been taught to them was simply not true.
It is not worth while to strain one's self to tell the truth to people who habitually discount everything you tell them, whether it is true or isn't.
I can tell you from experience that God's help and presence in our lives is vital. He is the Author of all true success and everything that is good-without Him, we can do nothing of true value.

A true masterpiece does not tell everything.
Tell them stories. They need the truth you must tell them true stories, and everything will be well, just tell them stories.

If it's false, you've lost nothing, but you've had a good life marked by peace and the illusion that ultimately, everything makes sense. But if you bet that it's false, and it turns out to be true, you've lost everything and you get to spend eternity in hell.
