I keep my skin clean and moisturised. While shooting, my skin has to put up with severe make up and lights for hours at a stretch. So I am obsessive about taking my make-up off as soon as I am done.
Considering the regular use of make-up and the fact that I'm under the glare of the harsh shooting lights practically all the time, I'm adamant about using really strong cleansing milk to get the make-up off my skin, and I never sleep with make-up on, however tired I am.
Personally, I have as little to do with politicians as possible. The ones that I've met I've found very boring. They're extremely egotistical, incredibly self-important. If I can help it, I try to stay as far away from them as possible.
Once I am out of the ground, I forget cricket or keep it away as far as possible, to lighten up.
I stay as far away from politics as possible, or any controversy.
Oh, I try to stay as far away from karaoke as humanly possible!
I like to let my skin breathe when I'm not shooting or working, so that's why you'll find me on most of my social media accounts barefaced with face masks!
When I'm not working, I prefer not to use any make-up so my skin can breathe. And I always moisturise.
Fashion shoots put an enormous strain on my skin and hair. So when I'm away from the cameras, I don't wear make-up, and I moisturise my skin with Aquasource by Biotherm.
A manager should stay as far away as possible from his players. I don't know if I said ten words to Frank Robinson while he played for me.
I like to let my skin breath as much as possible on my days off, when I don't have to wear full or heavy make-up. So I just apply it as a moisturiser, knowing that it's going to even out my skin tone and give me SPF 15 coverage, too.
Sooner or later, everyone's story has an unfortunate event or two...The solution, of course, is to stay as far away from the world as possible and lead a safe, simple life.
[On growing up in a large family with little money:] ... to take a bath ... we just had a pan of water and we'd wash down as far as possible, and we'd wash up as far as possible. Then, when somebody'd clear the room, we'd wash possible.
A lot of my life involves sitting and having make-up put on; whether it's on a movie set or for a photo shoot. When you're wearing that kind of make-up all the time your skin does get all this sensitivity, so it's important that you make sure you have make-up that is easy on your skin and not too harsh for it.
Of course it worries you as an actress to stay away from projects. I was approached for many TV soaps as well as reality shows. But, to stay away from work was my decision, and I'd glad to be part of such an interesting and unique concept like 'Ghar Jamai.' I am happy that I am playing a role that is so relatable.
I stay away from the makeup kit if I'm not shooting.
