A Quote by Nia Jax

I'm inspired to post a lot of positive messages on my social media because, growing up, I felt as though I needed somebody that looked like me in the limelight or in entertainment to promote being different and promote accepting your differences.
Any post I do on social media, any song, anything in general - I just try to promote positivity, because I felt like there's not enough positivity going around in the world.
It's up to me to promote my faith and somebody else to promote theirs. Let the government just protect our right to do so.
It's funny how I use social media because I don't use it to promote my restaurants that much. I use it for social issues and I think that's what it's for. I do a few things - I mess around with music a lot because that's a passion of mine. If something strikes me and I want to share it, I do.
I really needed a show like 'Jane' when I was growing up, so being able to portray a positive Latina character means a lot to me because I feel like it's helping me to contribute to someone's dreams.
I'd like to promote lots of things. I'd like to promote elimination of drug prohibition. I'd like to promote parental choice in education through vouchers. Those are two things I think are very urgent and important. They're both more important than the harm which Social Security will do.
I'm not in the business to promote myself. I'll happily promote the show that I worked so hard on - that's fine. But I feel like there's a shamelessness about promoting yourself now that I'm really uncomfortable with. People will say, "Look at me being so peaceful on this hike," but you're absolutely not being peaceful, you're focused on looking good because you're getting your picture taken.
I haven't gotten a lot of feedback about, 'Oh, you helped me in this way.' But on social media, people are like, 'Thank you for your positive posts,' or 'It's fun to see you grow and your character. I feel like I'm growing with you.'
Drugs are about dulling perception, about addiction and about behavioral repetition...What *psychedelics* are about is pattern- dissolving experiences of an extraordinarily high or different awareness. They are the exact opposite of drugs. They promote questioning , they promote consciousness, they promote value examinations, they promote the reconstruction of behavioral patterns.
For me, growing up at a young age in the limelight and on social media, I joined Twitter when I was 10 and I got my Instagram when I was 11, so when I joined Instagram, I did notice a lot of hate comments or people would just, like, nitpick at my appearance, just to be funny.
I am focusing on entertainment because entertainment is the best way to promote sports in India. And wrestling can benefit a lot through entertainment. That's why I am trying my best to juggle between wrestling and entertainment.
When I have to promote things now, sometimes I realize that I had a movie in mind, but in the end, it's a vision of somebody else, so I have to promote their idea.
There's a lot of things that I don't promote and I do promote mescaline. They open places in your mind that other things don't and if you're smiling, why not?
With the Internet and social media being a huge part of today's culture, I think it's super important to promote staying smart online.
A lot of celebrities promote their films to entertainment reporters and feel like they need to entertain them.
I'm extremely proud of being Latin; it's a big part of my life. It's not something I outwardly promote, just like I don't outwardly promote that I have green eyes and blonde hair. It's a part of who I am. I love the richness of the culture I grew up within.
I was definitely considered different growing up. I learned that being me was all right because my family celebrated those differences.
