I always try to take each situation as it comes to me. — © Nick Viall
I always try to take each situation as it comes to me.
I try to look at each situation and try to find a positive out of each one.
With every record, with each band, I just try to make a song good. I'm not so much focusing on my technique. There are a million better drummers than me. I try to adapt to the songwriter; I try to adapt to the situation and retain my sort of melodic power. My goal is for the band to be good.
I'm going to try to take a loving look at the situation and do what God gave me the ability to do, and He'll bless it.
I always try and take something from each job.
For me, I always try and deliver. Regardless of the situation, I always try and play hard every time I step out on the court. If I don't deliver and play well, then I know I haven't been working hard enough.
Each situation is different... Each situation, I'm a different person I guess. He's present; the actors are present; and you just work in that moment, trying to flush it out. We have history from Assassins and Wicked, but it's always new beginnings between us. You start off fresh and that's what I like and respect about him.
I've always been a leader. If someone was getting picked on in school, I'd try to deflate that situation by inviting that kid to eat lunch with me. I've always tried to be a uniter.
Being nice can be funny. A lot of my jokes are like, 'Let me take a bad situation and try to put the best spin on it.'
I have no major regrets. I've made the conscious decision not to look at life that way. I always try to learn something - to take something away from the situation.
I always try to better myself with every movie I make. I don't take anything sitting back, and so I try to learn from every film I make and carry that onto the next movie because I think it's important as a filmmaker to keep growing with each film, and I think I am growing with each movie.
There may be times in my life where a situation looks bleak or doesn't make sense, but having faith in God allows me to know that He will take me through that situation and make me better off than I was before.
A lot of Viners do more relatable stuff, but I try to stay away from that. I try to maybe take a relatable situation and Bach it up.
Women call me all the time and tell me, 'You inspired me to get out of a bad situation,' or 'You inspired me to take the reigns for myself and go and do this.' I try to tell people to live their best life, and do what you know you need to do for yourself and your family. You need to be supported.
To me, the best music always comes when - it sounds cliche, but you just try to block out the noise and try to not have any pressure with it and take your time.
We must take on each match as best we can and try to recover from each as quickly as possible.
I always treat each take as a rehearsal for the next take. That way you can find stuff and keep adding and playing until they tell me to stop
