It's good to get out there and get a nice sweat.
Cardio is a nice way to start the morning, man. Whether you sit on the bike for half an hour or throw on two jumpers and just sweat, it's good to get up, get the body active, put on your headphones, and just pedal away.
Sweat is my sanity. During the campaign, the days never went as well if I couldn't get out there and sweat.
We think that life is about get the girl, get the guy, get the car, get the job, get the house, get the kids, get the better job, get the better car, get the better house, get the promotion, get the office in the corner, get the kids on their way, get the grandkids, get the retirement watch, get the cruise tickets, get the illness, and get the heck out. That's it. That's a good life. But life has nothing to do with any of that. That is not our purpose in living. That is not the Agenda of the Soul.
Both tears and sweat are salty, but they render a different result. Tears will get you sympathy; sweat will get you change.
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more you sweat, the luckier you get.
(On the 1,500 meters) We went pretty slowly. It was a nice final lap for everyone. I didn't really have that last gear, but I felt really good. You can sweat by not practicing or you can pick up your clarinet. There's good sweat and there's bad sweat.
Any chance to get out and play live for some people and get out of the studio is nice.
In Los Angeles, it's always nice out. In New York, it can be nice out or horrifying. You really have no idea what you're going to get on any given day.
..we are trained as children to get good grades, get a good job, get a good spouse, get children, get ahead. In all this getting we get something else: anxiety and depression.
I'm excited to help people get healthier and be happier with eTone Fitness. It's been a lifesaver. I'm able to get my sweat on, have a live coach train me and get results from home. Not a gimmick, it works!
In the early days, I didn't have the money to pay decent salaries, so I didn't get good people. I got nice people, but I didn't get good employees.
The bottom line is, don't be a lifer. Get in, get a business, get five years of what you can, and get out. What happens is they start listening to the promoters, 'You'll get the next main event.' And then, all of a sudden, you become a lifer. That's the kiss of death there. Get in shape, go in, get the money, get out, and have a wonderful life.
And now life has become the future. Every moment of your life is lived for the future—you go to high school so you can go to college so you can get a good job so you can get a nice house so you can afford to send your kids to college so they can get a good job so they can get a nice house so they can afford to send their kids to college.
Retirement: It's nice to get out of the rat race, but you have to learn to get along with less cheese.
I walk away from writing what I consider to be a good song - with a good character, a good story in it - with all I'm gonna really get out of that song. My greatest pleasure is to create it, not to record it, not to hear anyone else play it, though that can be nice too.
